That's not how a chicken sounds! Chickens don't clap!!
Anyway! Back on topic...I was going through some episodes from season 1 over these past few days and I've noticed that all the women have at one point or another been in conflict with each other...except for Susan and Lynette. Or am I wrong? Bree & Gabby: When Gabby was helping Danielle get into modeling school this caused tension between the two of them (season 1). Bree & Lynette: When Lynette confronts Bree about her drinking problem after losing her (Lynette's) kids while babysitting with a hangover (season 2) Bree & Susan: on the set of the Vanity Fair photo shoot (season 1). Oh, and the whole Orson vs. Mike innocence thing this past season. Gabby & Bree: (already listed) Gabby & Lynette: After Gabby jokingly kisses Tom at the party (season 2) it makes Lynette uncomfortable so she confronts Gabby about it and makes out with Carlos. Gabby & Susan: Susan condemns Gabby for having an affair with John Rowland (season 1). Lynette & Bree: (already listed) Lynette & Gabby: (already listed) Lynette & Susan: ??? Susan & Bree: (already listed) Susan & Gabby: (already listed) Susan & Lynette: ??? Edie, at one point or another, has been conflict (either minor or major) with each of the ladies as well...except Lynette??

I'm pretty sure there must have been something even minor. Maybe one of those all 3 against 1 situations where one or the other was in the wrong about
something.
I'm thinking a road trip with 2 or more of them together would be a great plot. :) |

I can't think of anything with Lynette/Susan (or Edie for that matter). I'm really looking forward to the season three DVD... can't wait to see Alma again! |

Finally watched the end of the music video, makes me very excited. I hope some of the first season brilliance can return. However I enjoyed the past two
seasons very much and cannot wait for the next season.

What I really enjoyed about the first season's DVDs were the director and creator's commentaries on selected episodes. This was missing from the season
2 DVDs.
So...we're in agreeance (I don't think that's a word...) that we have yet to see conflict between Lynette and Susan/Edie. Though I wasn't too excited after the season 3 finale, I'm ecstatic about the season premiere. Instead of having yet another new neighbor move onto the lane, we have old neighbors returning...it looks like the b*tch will feel right at home and begin mixing things up and causing chaos for our ladies...especially Bree. Can't wait to see how this addition to the cast will change/enhance the dynamics of the neighborhood/show. Yup, yup, yup...we're 3 weeks away from the season 3 dvd release. Can't wait! |

Here are the actors playing the gay couple, according to TV Guide.
From TVGuide.com: Desperate Housewives has tapped One Life to Live's Tuc Watkins and ex-Judging Amy actor Kevin Rahm to play Wisteria Lane's first gay couple. Watkins will play Bob, described as a country mouse who leaves the big city for greener (and quieter) pastures. Rahm is his bitchy partner, Lee. Both roles are of the recurring variety. Interestingly, the characters' names are a tribute to ABC News' Bob Woodruff and his wife Lee, whom series creator Marc Cherry befriended last spring. I always loved the one of the left from on "One Life to Live". |

So...no Eric McCormack & Sean Hayes?
Actually, I think Eric McCormack and Dan Futterman (the guy that played Karen's gay cousin Barry) would've been solid. But, these dudes are pretty easy on the eyes... Thanks for the info, E9. |

I guess I'm the only one that caught the new promo tonite towards the end of the repeat: Into The Woods.
It was an edited 1 minute variation of the Sean Kingston DH season 4 promo. The last 15 seconds or so showed new/unseen clips of the upcoming season. The most interesting/hilarious clip showed Orson & Bree at a BBQ and what appeared to be a caterer...he slipped and fell forward, I assume a carving knife slipped out of his hand and plunged right into Bree's "stomach." Then they show Orson pointing down at the knife in her belly and Bree's surprised reaction...then it ends. :o Can't wait! Anywho, just a little over 2 weeks for the release of the season 3 DVD!!! Time goes by so slowly! UGH!!

Tuc Watkins is AWESOME!! I saw him in a gay independent film called "I Think I Do" (from 1997) and he was great in that. And I remember him from
OTLT. He's very charming and has great comic timing. Good choice!

Here's a link to an interesting article I came across regarding the addition of Dana Delaney's character and the effects it might have on the show and
the ladies of Wisteria Lane (particularly Bree): Dana...the original Bree
Interesting read for any Marcia Cross/Bree fan. Can't wait for the 2 to bump heads. Here's a fantastic screen cap (Bree looks gorgeous...what's new?) *salivating*

Just in case anyone's interested, here's the clip I was talking about in last nite's post.
The quality is pretty craptacular but I guess it'll have to do (for now): Watch 4 Bree @ very end! |

Thanks for the links! Look's great. I love how Bree realizes the knife's in her stomach at the end with a very Bree "Oh!" I cannot wait for this season... |

Thanks for the link! I just wish they would have picked a better song. I HATE the song and the singer.

You 2 are VERY welcome. ;)
Oh, and ITA about the song. Cannot stand the song. Cannot stand the "artist". Do love the clips from the upcoming season, though.

I like your last avatar better Surge. This one is too diluted with non-Breeness.

Hmm...I know what you mean. That kind of bothered me a bit. But, I kinda see it this way, its the Bree we all know and love (portrayed impeccably by the
magnificent Marcia Cross) and the original actress Marc Cherry chose to play the part of Bree (Dana Delany). So, in a way, its almost like having 2 Brees in my
avatar at once!
But, yeah...I'm probably going to change it soon. I've got to look through my MC pix collection. Thanks for the concern.
