I thought they implied Edie wasn't dead by her hand twitch.I agree. Talk of Edie's demise is premature. She dies next episode, once all the housewives have crowded around her as she's lays dying on the ground and they await the arrival of an ambulance. It will give the housewives time to reflect and reminisce and that's when we'll see the flashbacks.

Ugh, if Edie really dies I'll probably stop following DH. I hate how they made her act so fucking stupid this episode. Like she would just send Dave a text and then wait for him at home, suspecting he might be a raving psycho that wants to kill Mike? Please. I don't buy her being that helpless, it's way out of character. Edie is pretty much the only reason I'm still watching this show (well McCluskey too I guess). I used to like Bree before, but even she annoys me now with her ultraboring Orson-plots. The other housewives suck even more. |

edie's son said his mother abandoned him and needed to get to class, but mcclusky grabbed his tie and told him a heartwarming
story in flashback form of how edie told her she knew her son had to be away from her if he were to be able to grow up normal. i love edie, but this whole episode is pathetic with an obviously rushed attempt to pay homage to her character. it seems like this show is never going to move forward anymore, which is odd considering they jumped ahead 5 years in one fell swoop. |

Edie was such a great catalyst for all the other characters, and she made Susan tolerable. What was the real reason she was let go, because I don't buy the
"budget cuts" economic downturn reason. There were many other characters that could be let go (the gays, Katheryn, any husband, etc...) that would
have been a better loss to the show.
