I was actually really impressed that they didn't have 'live feed' of him telling her. I think they felt that it had to be shown that he did tell
her, but the way they did it was as classy as you can get while still watching it happen. It was hard to watch, but I would have had no respect for any of them
had they had audio and close-ups of it.

I think she's sweet, and pretty, and that's sad her husband just left. He's obviously a jerk, but she loves the jerk. He always looked immature to
me on there. Jeff is my favorite "reality person" because I think he's sexy, and I like watching his OCD narcissistic drama filled life. That
nail that went in Jenny's foot! Jeff's right she shouldn't ever wear shoes like that on any construction site.
but what it often is the inability to sense feelings in others.. Jeff is thatYes, just what I thought watching how blank he was when Jenny had that nail in her foot, and that's why so many narcissists are on these reality tv shows, for one thing they could never be humiliated by anything on tv about them because they don't have that kind of empathy or insight that people without narcissism do, where they might be "embarassed" or "ashamed" although Jeff said from the first season that he saw how controlling he was and what an asshole he was and he was trying to change, and he does feel for Jenny, so there is hope for him. From the bits and pieces he says about his own childhood/parents, and when we saw the dad who seems to "compete" with him, narcissism becomes the way a child survives. "The Drama of the Gifted Child." And "gifted child" in that refers to the gift that children have to survive when their needs aren't met, or they are abused, etc. This week he said how he was never hugged by his parents, and his partner said to him in the restaurant there about his lack of empathy.

Man, that was strangely powerful for a funny little reality show. I feel just terrible for Jenni.
Did anyone else get the sense that there was something more? Like the camera caught Chris doing blow on the desk and they cut around it? Like it needed any more drama... Glad Jeff is going back to work for the bitch next week. |

Random Musings:
- Whoever said Anthony Perkins? Yes, finally. That's who Jeff reminds me off. Anthony Perkins with Botox. - Chris is a douche, but two sides to every story. Ya never know. I would think this was the last straw and not 'oh, he fucked around at work, now we are done'. All he's done for 2 seasons is fuck around. Jenny seemed devastated in the car 'you think you know someone'. My guess is that he was looking a ghey porn or more likely, he's got some strange on the side and got busted. Maybe that's the Facebook thing. - I hate the new Chris. Don't like the cam or any of that other shit? Then quit and get a job as a waiter at Olive Garden where you WON'T be getting 20 minutes of screen time on national television every week. - Chris Elwood and Georgia. Notice, in every episode, he's got on U of Georgia hat and then, when he leaves, there's a Georgia sticker on the windshield. Sorry, I just think it's lame when people in their late 30's still get all 'college-y'. Dude, that was 17 years ago and it was only 4 years out of your 38 years. Grow up. And and I'm sure University of Georgia has released a statement apologizing for how their educational institution failed with this fuck. - LOVED the 'uh oh, there's a kid' comment. Also loved how, in typical LA fashion, the kid (s) were being tended to by a domestic and not the actual mother of said child. - Jenny rocks the Lacoste. But I noticed something creepy - she doesn't blink. She'll hook up with some producer type dude who will be a trade up from Chris. And Chris will be homeless with an Ipod. |

^ Don't forget answering the phone "Chez Lewis" in his French accent, which he categorically denied and swore on his soul that he did not.
Talk about busted! I did love that he didn't even try to defend himself, he knew he was screwed. |

White folks- The Anthony Perkins remark was mine. Watch in Psycho where the dude is peeping at Leigh. Same vibe.
"Jenny rocks the Lacoste. But I noticed something creepy - she doesn't blink." Ever been to acting school? That's what they teach you- never blink on camera. Jenny is a trained actress. |

SI and others who said that there might be more behind Jenni and Chris' break up, that got me thinking. Last week's trailer for this week's
episode had Jenni saying "I just hope he gets the help he needs" while she was crying. I was worried that she was talking about Jeff and his
paranoia, but now that we know that she doesn't blame Jeff, she must have been saying it about Chris. So maybe it is drugs, porn, compulsive lying, or
something like that?

The scene where Jeff tells Jenny makes me squirm, it's so good. The no audio, broken nanny cam footage... I'm such a sap.

BTW, when you hear Jenny say, "I just didn't know!...I'm sad for my husband because it's humiliating...Do I think my husband's a bad man?
No way...I haven't spoken to him, I couldn't..." Uh, no one talks about some guy who went on the computer a few times and rooted around in the
drawers a few times like that seriously. Right?

Chris is in his late 30s!!!!!! I had no idea, I thought he was like 24 or something because he is so immature. I hope some handsome wealthy smart kind man
has seen Jenni on the show and gets in touch with her and falls in love with her. There's a good interview with Jeff in the L.A. Times "A Calmer Jeff
Lewis...The Star of Flipping Out Tries to Be Mellow. Good Luck With That." And I think it was Mon., but if you go to L.A. Times web site and search for
Jeff Lewis you'll find it. Jeff said in it, "The New York Times called me a very scary man." LOL.

I get the Chris hate.. I felt that way about my ex partner.. I tried a couple of times to give him the "benefit of the doubt" but short of nanny cams
I just knew he was a liar and passive aggressive about it.. being in the same "industry" as Jeff, the flakes and fuck ups are par for the course..
you do your best but I know how it is... you have to cut them out before they drain you emotionally and financially. I would never go to the extremes as Jeff
felt he needed to but given that Jenni works for him as well and the "friend" factor he felt proof was the only way... thankfully I didn't have
that dilemma.. it sucks.. that said Jeff has many many issues and working for him is challenging regardless.

Well, I for one, don't feel that Chris's role is 'real'.
I think Jeff is probably a whacky real estate flipper guy and Jenni is his actress wannabee assistant (working a real 9-5 because the acting career ain't happening) and Zoila is the hired maid. I think Chris Elwood and new Chris and the other guys he fired last year are all put ons for the show. Jeff even said they've been friends for a long time. My gut is that Elwood is a struggling actor and friend of Jeff. When Bravo does the show, they add these 'house assistants' to pick up dog shit and pop anal glands and it makes for good tv. It helps the show and Chris gets some exposure to try to kick start his shitty acting career - better than waiting tables at Olive Garden and trying to get discovered by the assistant assistant producer for Leprechaun 4. Think about the dynamics of it. I doubt Jeff makes all that much dough, especially in the terrible economy. He has to pay for Jenni, Zoila, two huge car leases (CL500 and Range Rover HSE)? I doubt he's really got the cash to support paying the other house fucknuts. Think about if they work full time and he pays them $15 an hour - that's around $30K a year x 2 people = $60K a year. Plus if he's giving 'em any benefits, outside of horribly unhealthy lunches. I doubt Jeff can swing $75K a year for those two (assuming he wasn't getting the Bravo income). |
