Firstly, I admit that Survivor is going down the drain, however, it is not due to "LA slackers" as one person put it. The thing is, most people who apply for Survivor today are 15th generation ripoffs of Survivor 1. Thats not necessarily a bad thing, but I actually think having a survivor full of people who are too lazy to do anything better then watch survivor would actually be worse then watching a survivor full of recruits(cirie excepted). I assume that most people who hate recruits are those who cant indentify with "that crowd" and thats totally understandable. On the other hand, if survivor was just filled with bitter, jealous average joes and janes,would that make it any better? The Survivor Borneo cast was filled with people too busy to watch tv and even though EPMB is idiotic forhaving enormous casts, too long and elaborate challanges, extraneous hiis and "exile islands", shitty editing jobs and final 3s, hes right that ppeople unaware of how to play the game usually make better tv
