At this point, knowing how little is left, I'm pretty sure that even if it turned into the shittiest show ever made for the last couple seasons, I'd still watch until the end. I'm just in too deep now.

Me four. I think I will just sit there in awe and sadness for a little while, not sure what to do with myself. Only two more seasons...ack...I want them to
come quickly and have a resolution but then I know I'd love it if there was just more and more Lost to come forever.

Me five. This show is like crack to me. There are only two TV shows that would make me drop what I'm doing and completely abandon my friends just to watch
them: Survivor and Lost.
And plus it's kinda like Pringles. Once you pop the fun don't stop. |

Sorry we lost ya for good.. Ain't gonna happen.

I know I know but I can still hope they return to the island and THEN Kate dies. Then I'm back on this show like white on rice.

But that would be close to the end of the series, ya know? Then you'd have to rent the stuff you missed for it all to make sense and KATE/Evie would be in
all those episodes.

Nah, I don't mind being lost in the plot if it involves a dead Kate.

Aww give Kate a break. Evie really has improved as an actor IMO. I just can't see the show without her. Yet. |

Will |

And I just can't see the show with her.

yeah, they should totally kill off the female lead. not happening. |
|||
Will |
|||

You do realize they almost killed off Jack, right?
|
|||
FeliciaM7 |
|||
|
Wrong. If you're talking about at the beginning, that was when Michael Keaton was gonna play Jack. And yeah, the character was gonna die in the pilot or
shortly after. All that has nothing to do with Matthew Fox in the role. To my knowledge the writers have never considered killing off Jack since
Matthew Fox became "Jack". The script was changed from an older lady being the Lostie leader (Kate) to Jack being leader.

I didn't say Matthew Fox's Jack, did I? I just said Jack. Jack was supposed to die but did not. :) Nothing wrong with that statement.
|

True. But when one thinks of "Jack", one thinks of Matthew Fox since Michael Keaton never played Jack. And since I am a diehard Jack fan, one of the only three on this forum, I felt compelled to defend him even though you never quite insulted him. It's my job and stuff. I thought you'd respond with something like "I wish they would have left Kate as an older leader type character so EL would never have been
cast." You're slipping with the hate! |
|||
Will |
|||
|
But I still believe EL would have been cast if only for some other useless role.
|
|||
FeliciaM7 |
|||

But you wouldn't hate Kate anymore.

We'd have to see. We'd have to see.

If it becomes like Alias, Homicide or Millennium and the show revamps itself introducing "sexy" cast members. Then again they sort of did that with
Nicki and Paulo and that lead to the best episode of the season.

I feel terrible. I still haven't watched last season's finale. And tomorrow is the beginning of the next season. I just never cared - tried to watch it
online, but the first five minutes were all about Kate and I couldn't finish. I really need to catch up - I miss this forum and you guys.
