The only thing that would make me stop watching would be Fonzie showing up in a boat asking who wants to go waterskiing.
Yup, yup!
Thanks for that, Fluffy!

Ya know, if Sayid finds out he can find a way off the island with just a twig, some gum and a hairpin, I may stop watching. Yeah right.

The deaths of Sawyer, Locke, Sayid or Rousseau.

well, my first reaction to the subject question was
"I'll stop watching if they ever kill off John Locke or Jack." however... I'd probably still watch. I'm hooked. I'll stop watching on the day they get TOO sci fi, or the show is cancelled. Whichever comes first. If the show gets all "buffy" or whatever, that would turn me off. |

I don't mind something being mystical in nature...mysterious. But I agree...and I don't want to see vampires or aliens in this show<G>. :)Peggy |

Something messed up would get me to stop watching like lets say...
All the people on the island are hooked up to Dharma brain scanners, which send impulses to their cortex, cerebellum, etc. to make them believe they are all on a virtual island together and the others are all computer @#%$ implanted into their brains. This is the "GOD complex" experiment and was used to create a machine to test spies as a torture and intelligence device. Basically if everything we knew was fake or false and the last 2 years of my life wasted they will lose me forever |

Actually, I became a regular viewer (as opposed to a hard-core, spoiler-hunting viewer) when they killed Shannon. What can I say? I really form attachments to some characters. For me to want to stop watching the show, they would have to keep throwing in major questions that they're obviously not going to answer and start getting super-careless with the balls they have in the air, or to flat out say that it's purgatory. |

There are a couple things that I'm getting tired of.
- Jack flashbacks. Aside from the fact I just don't like Jack, his flashbacks are all the same...Jack encounters a dilemma, he scrunches up his face and stares down at someone's shoes, while his father tells him he's a disappointment. We don't really need more than one Jack show a season. There are plenty of characters who only got one show this year and their stories haven't been told and some of them hardly even get to appear in the present-day anymore. - Ignoring characters. In the first season, every character would appear in every episode. Now you can go weeks without seeing Sayid or Claire; Claire's baby is presumably important to the goings-on, while Sayid used to be one of the "leaders" and was in the loop. They've disappeared, and so have Charlie and Bernard (by the way Bernard, two of your closest friends on the island just died, do you even know yet?) and even Kate, at least Kate in a useful sense. I don't even have a particular attachment to any of these characters, but if everything happens for a reason then all these people are here for a reason and I want to know what they're up to. Involve everyone in the show more. If Hurley and Eko have two useless scenes together, scrap one and replace it with a Charlie and Claire scene. - Start talking. Jack has to quit being a jackass and Locke has to quit keeping everything he sees a secret. Everyone needs to sit down and compare notes, especially now that they know they've crashed into an experiment. If they do that then maybe they'll start realizing the extent of their connections, and then they can REALLY start to figure out what's going on. But it would really take a lot for me to sour on Lost. I did give up on X-Files after six or seven years...it wasn't satisfying its story. Lost is still in its infancy, I feel, and while it has a LOT of puzzles that need solving, it's been good in meting out answers at a fairly steady pace. It's ramped up in recent weeks at the expense of general character development. A balance needs to be reached. I'm sure they'll find it. |

Quote: I sure hope so, Anti. Hello, angela! Good to see ya! I suspect that, now that we're at the end of the season, we will see more of the MIA characters. I remain pretty sure that I'd continue to watch to the (hopefully NOT) bitter end. |

If they move the show to a time when another of my must-see shows is on.
Depending on the other show, a tough decision would have to be made, since we are a non-Tivo house. |

Are you kidding? I still watch "Alias" and await each new episode with gleeful anticipation. I don't want "Alias" to end. I didn't want "Twin Peaks" or "Picket Fences" or "X Files," and especially not "Kung-Fu" and "Firefly" to end. So keep this show coming no matter what.
