Why trust Ben, who had done nothing but lie to him and his friends since they met at all?? And clearly doing what eh did worked out sooo well for him. Walt won't speak to him and he wants to kill himself. Hope it was worth it. Me thinks the Others were better parents to Walt than Michael ever could be.

I would have done the same thing to protect my daughter. I don't think Michael had time to sit down with all the parties involved and weigh his options. Ok, so Ben was a mothafucker and yes Michael could have turned to his friends, but in that same situation I personally wouldn't have taken the risk.. one wrong move and he'll never see his kid again. The Others were a force to be reckoned with at that time, who knows.. they could have had someone watching his every move. And last but not least, the writers wanted the drunk drivers off the show and poor Michael was given the task of making that happen. Give a brother a break. ;)

I said it before I think the Others were probably better parents than Michael. And CLEARLY it worked out so well for him what with Walt not wanting to see him and Michael, in yet another display of his awesome dadness tried to kill himself several times. Yeah that was totally worth killing 2 people and selling out your friends. Everything is much better for Walt now.
