its way lame because it means some people, no matter what they do, can absolutley NOT WIN THE GAME
no matter what Cassandra/Dreamz did by final 4, either Yao or Earl would be there and they would lose, and yet they needed both of them to get to that point. Cassandra could have had a chance to win had she gotten to a Dreamz/Cassandra Final 2. What pisses me off is not that i would want to see Cassandra win but the fact she isnt even afforded a chance that in a regular game she otherwise would have. It completley negates some people from even trying. |

im glad earl won, i wouldnt want to see cassandra win but the problem is the final 3 doesnt work.
its not a game of who you want to win winning, people should have a chance to win no matter who they are. Final 3 is a way of producers stacking the deck in favor of alpha males. |

The whole point of the F3 was so that the best player wouldn't come in third with an arguable lesser player winning. One could argue (although many will disagree with certain picks) that Africa, Marquesas, Amazon, Pearl Islands, Palau, Guatemala and Exile Island all ended with the best player coming in third place.
And now guess what? The best player comes in fourth place. And if they change it to F4, the best player will come in fifth place. Bringing goats to the end will never change, no matter how many people face the jury. BRING BACK F2! >

The problem with F2 was that it came down to winning the F3 IC and then bringing a goat with you. Putting the final IC at F4 at least makes the finalists a matter of a vote, not a one-person choice.
I don't like either method. Here is my choice for getting the best possible F2: 1. Have the usual F3 IC. Winner gets a place in the F2. 2. With NO DISCUSSION, the IC winner and the 8 jurors (to that point) vote - choosing the F2 opponent from the two IC losers. That way the F2 would consist of the F3 IC winner going against the more popular of the two IC losers. That way you can't bring a goat to the finals. |

The only way we will ever get rid of the sacrificial lambs would be for the challenge itself to determine who faces the jury, for example the endurance challenge this year would have left Dreamz, Earl, and Yau for the F3. Letting the players have a chance to vote off the person who scares them the most just before the jury will always end up with a good player going out.

I understand and agree with you Ashton. I wouldn't mind a final 2 again...final 3 was a nice for a twist, but worth one or two seasons only.

If it had been Yau and Earl and someone else it would have been great and it almost was. Last season, Yul vs Ozzy was a great match up.
