I probably won't watch the show again until finale night. I can't deal with GnataLIE as HoH. I'll probably read through BB live feed discussion and stuff though. Come back, Jack!!

I noticed someone using the word "vindiction" on another thread. BB is all over. I don't think my heart (or other parts) could handle Jack and Jeff on the same show.

It's not an episode fans usually name as their least favorite. The episode fans bring up most often is "Stranger in a Strange Land," which is the epiosde with Bai Ling and Jack and his tattoos. And basically, I feel like it's unfair to bag on that episode. Am I a huge fan of it? No. But at the same time, there were so many different circumstances that led to that episode that needed to be written and so many ideas that didn't work. The fact that it all coalesced ... There was a bad casting decision made. There was a bad premise decision made. There was a bad flashback story. Just everything that could go wrong did, but I don't think it was because the script was terrible. *"Homecoming," I think, was flawed on almost every single level that an episode of Lost* could be.** Bai Ling, huh. I'm surprised he disliked Homecoming that much. My personal least favorite FB story was Locke's.. I can't even remember the episode title. Second worst FB is Stranger in a Strange Land. I liked the island story of that episode though.

I am actually excited to watch it believe it or not as it is so utterly forgettable. I'm looking forward to watching it with the mindset of trying to find some positives! Interesting that Homecoming would be his least favorite. I often say that for as fresh and exciting as S1 was, a lot of the episodes don't hold up in a lot of areas in compairision to everything that followed.

I haven't watched it lately. Isn't that the one where Juliet was branded? I do remember the judge telling Jack his tattoo meant "he walks among us but isn't one of us" and he said "that's what they say, that's not what they mean". That was sinister, but never went anywhere. Anyway I liked everything but the flashbacks in that episode. It could have been a tiny bit better without nasty Bai Ling.

I like when it is positioned in Jack's timeline and I applaud the writing staff for the attempt. It was still too far-fetched and in many ways bland to totally win me over, but they also could have done a lot worse. And, if you take away Bai Ling in put anyone with talent in there, it would have come off much better. She was horrible. As for the episode overall, the Island stories are actually quite good. Felicia, everything you mentioned is in there and all enjoyable. The close to the episode is especially well done. Overall, no it is certainly not a "classic" but does get somewhat of a bad rep. Its not un-watchable... well Bai Ling is, but regardless!
