Thanks Felicia. I'm here gang & am doing better.

For those of you that don't know, on Dec. 30th my 36 year old daughter, Deaon, shot herself in the head. She has a history of bi-polar disorder with some schizophrenia. But she has been doing well on her medication for quite some time. She got married a year ago & was very happy. She lives with her husband in Salina, Kansas. While he was at work that day she somehow bought a pistol. Details are still sketchy but the police are certain it was a self-inflicted wound. Her husband came home from work & found her barely alive.

She was flown to a Wichita, Kansas trauma unit & put on life support. Now she's been moved to an acute care hospital where she is expected to recover slowly. Her left side is paralyzed but she is beginning to track with her eyes when she's alert & can answer yes/no questions with a thumbs up. They are weaning her off the vent. Luckily, my ex is able to be with her. He lives in Dallas but is staying at the Ronald McDonald house near the hospital. Unfortunately, I can't travel because of my health so you can all imagine what I've been going through.

But, now that we're looking at recovery things are better for me & like I told Felicia, I'm looking forward to getting lost in LOST soon. I'd appreciate your prayers & good thoughts for my baby.
