Isn't another open S5 question who was shooting at Locke, Charlotte, Faraday, Miles, Juliet, and Sawyer in the outrigger canoe? Or are we supposed to
assume it was Ilana and her people?

Well...
Maybe the explosion from the h-bomb sent them back to the present. They realize they changed absolutely nothing, that all of that was supposed to happen, and now they are in 2007 and still on the island. What do they do? They see their past selves, and in an attempt to change what happened, they try to shoot themselves before their past selves can travel back to 1974. |
