Why was this plot line dropped? Charlie made such a fuss about baptizing Aaron, did that make Aaron no longer evil? Did the psychic know that Claire wouldn't survive a pregnancy on the island (or so he thought?)

How does Walt know that the bullet didn't damage Locke's spinal cord? Locke also appears to be clued in about the satellite phone and the parachutist when he goes to the tower. Maybe Jacob conveyed this knowledge to Locke through the appearance of Walt. How else could Locke know to kill the parachutist?

I always took it to mean that the psychic was forcing Claire to keep her baby by forcing her to raise it on the Island.

At the very beginning, Charlie ran and told Jack that someone was in the ocean, and Charlie said, "I don't swim! I don't swim!" We obviously learned that he CAN swim...Was he saying he doesn't becuse because of the drugs? Another question, In the pilot episode, Charlie ran to the front of the plane and went to the bathroom right behind the cockpit and then when the turbulence started, he got in the seat on the very first row. How did he end up on the beach, if the seat he was sitting in was in the front section of the plane? AND right when Charlie went in the bathroom, Cindy was standing right outside the door with someone else, and they were telling Charlie to get out of the bathroom. How did she get to the tail section (the opposite end of the plane) so quickly?

I want to know so much more about her. she is connected to Hurley and Desmond pre island. why was she in the instution? how did she leave? was she really a clinical phychiatrist, or did she just pick up the lingo while in there? Did she work for the Others? SHE was the one who convinced Ana Lucia that Nathan was creepy. then, she suddenly acts as though Al was all alone in that conclusion. She acted really weird when Hurley asked her why she was familiar--making up a story about being stepped on by Hurley when he came aboard. Just who was her husband? did she even have a husband?
