I'll be sad to see Daniel go but I think it's cool the way they have it happen.

im confused at how she wouldn't know he is her son????? Sounds sad a mother killing her son..........I knew Chang would find out about Miles that seems
too good to not pursue that scene and it's potential complications

That is confusing. Taken away at birth? But wasn't there a spoiler about a younger Eloise at Daniel's graduation? Why would she be at his graduation
if she didn't know he was her son? If this didn't come from DarkUFO's site, I'd have a bit of trouble with it.

Maybe Daniel shows up at the Other's camp hooded like we saw Locke on the beach. Or it could be in a blinding rainstorm & he's dressed in a Dharma
jumpsuit. She thinks she's shooting the enemy. Then Jack & Kate tell her who he was & proceed to tell her what has been going on. Poor Eloise.

Yeah I guess. The way it was worded made me think she didn't know Daniel was her son. I'm a dork. It's probably something like you described - thus the Eloise sympathy factor. |

So it's Daniel, eh? Okay. Not feeling sad....not pissed. Therefore, it must work for me.
I give them permission. |

She doesn't know adult Daniel is her son in 1977... Just like Chang doesn't know Miles (adult) is his son. It sounds like a pretty cool way to go.
Also, it seems pretty clear to me that Bram and Illana are the children of Dharma. Daniel warns Chang, Chang sends the kids away, and that is the season 6
setup.
I'm with you, cindi and felicia. Can't wait to get out of 1977... I've grown bored of those storylines. The first 6-7 eps were great, followed by mediocre dharmaville storylines (not to mention continuity error after continuity error). |

Hostile.. but if Eloise somehow ends up in '77 (then she time traveled back?) and time is linear, then she knows what adult Daniel looks like, right? Chang
wouldn't know because he only saw Miles as a baby. Or are you thinking "Ellie" is there and wouldn't know what her adult child looks like?
Fuck me. Yeah, can we please get past Dharma?! |

Gotcha. That was the second part/question of my ridiculous post.

Okay, let me get this straight... young Eloise Hawking shoots her son in 1977 not realizing it's her son. Jack and Kate tell her in 1977 that she just shot
her son, Daniel, dead.
Now go ahead into the future with Eloise Hawking off the island and raising her son Daniel. Since whatever happaned, happened she must know all along that Daniel will die by her hand when he grows up and leaves for the island, yet carries on like everything is normal without nary a mention to him about what may come or even an attempt to save him. She just accepts it and does her own thing? Cool storyline, but really cruel and heartless when you think about it. |

Unless she's working on a plan to undo it? She did meet with Desmond specifically in the past, to make she he got his fate-changing mojo.

Desmond = The Variable? I think so.

Yeah, I'll be surprised if The Variable is not Desmond.

So, in 2007/08 *eyeroll* when the O6 who were going back met with Eloise at the church and Des shows up and delivers the message from Daniel, does this explain
the "I could care less"/bizarre look Eloise had on her face? Her reaction to that has stuck in my head.

New podcast is up. Link: http://spoilerslost.blogspot.com/
1) Confirmed that it was interesting fans did guess Miles was Chang's son when they first introduced Miles and they did not change the overall story after they realized we knew 2) The Variable and The Constant are indeed connected 3) Faraday Centric and feel it is the best episode of the season. 4) Fun question why Sawyer wear shirts. They have some funny answers. 5) Three facts about Sawyer Damon likes: Wears Glasses (thinking-man Sawyer), Ambidextrous (can use both left and right hands), and likes to hit people without any notice 6) There were two helicopters - 1 Scout (Naomi's) and the other helicopter was Frank's that eventually crashes with the O6 7) Reference that at LEAST one fan was thankful about the $3.2 Million explanation 8) Episode 5x15 - We will learn more about Phil 9) Ben's favorite show is Nightline - They then joke about it 10) They read an email from a fan that is mad they used the line "Ewoks Suck", they then joke and chat about it. They also confirm the writers debated that line for hours. 11) Are we going to learn about Faraday's memory issues?? We know the results of the tests/experiments on his "girlfriend" Theresa, so it possible his memory loss is a side effect as well. Carlton says maybe Faraday returns to the island to see if the healing aspects help him and that we will learn more in the next episode. 12) Confirm that the Dharma Beer cans that have flip-tops were created by Dharma (they are being sarcastic and joke about have an episode dedicated to beer) |
