Yeah! How could a stand up guy like Sir Jack, stealer of drugs and attempted murderer of Locke ever foul up?

Maybe Kate doesn't realize it's Ben at first? Or maybe she just sees him as a child that got shot. I'm curious how anything she does on the island
could be protecting Aaron.

No, the opposite of arguing would be closer to agreeing.

I'm wondering whether this might be a good way to bring Locke back into the action. IE He appears and convinces Jack to save Ben.
I just want Locke back soon one way or another. |

. . . Except Locke and Jack are in different time periods right now.

Update: 10:00 I've been getting a lot of comments and emails about this death. So I thought I'd make post here.
I am assuming that this death Kristin is referring to is different to the death poll etc that we ran a while ago. The death poll is for an earlier episode so it looks like this is a new death. Update: 09:40 In Kristin's original post she had the following question. This was then deleted for some reason? Marcus in Pittsburgh: Can we get one decent clue about the Lost death? Charlie Pace and the major character that dies this season are polar opposites in at least one key physical attribute. Here is what Kristin from E! Online had to add from LOST Writer Eddy Kitsis who confirmed indeed the death is a Charlie-like character death and that the writers had doubts about the death as well. Melanie in Auckland, New Zealand: Lost scoop, please, hopefully about which character is dying. We hit a Lost writers event last week at the Writers Guild Foundation in Beverly Hills, and when asked about character deaths, awesome Lost exec producer Eddy Kitsis told the audience, "We arc out characters, so we know who will die and when they die. I will say when it comes to those episodes, sometimes it's very hard to let go, and you'll start saying [in the writers' room], 'I know we planned all season for Charlie to die, but…what if he didn't? Maybe Charlie lives.' And that's how we know how it's good-because if we're having this emotional reaction over losing these characters, hopefully you will, too." For the record, we will have a Charlie's-death-level emotional reaction to the character death at the end of season-there will be wailing, rending of garments and general grief. The writers probably had plenty of doubts about whether or not it was really a good idea to kill this particular character. Could the physical difference be size? I would hate for him to go, but maybe Hurley dies. Maybe related to the purge.

Crap. Didn't think about size... Ugh. : /

I thought of Hurley too. And that would be a shame because he's a kind of moral compass for the others.

Sayid? Charlie is white, Sayid is brown?
I don't see where his arc is going to go now... He can't have more storylines after trying to kill a child. A few of us thought he would kill himself last week... It's not like you go can shoot a 12yo boy in the chest and continue to do regular island stuff. I'm confused as fuck... How many characters are on death watch? Ausiello talked about one minor character dying, Kristen said one major, and is this a new one we're hearing about? So... 3? |

If you really want to play with emotions, Hurley would be the best out of all of those still alive. Although Desmond may make work to. But if you look at story
arc, maybe it is Sawyer or Sayid who dies. I would hate to see any of them die. Ben is needed in order to continue the plot along. I am so not a Jack fan
& would love to see him go, however I don't think they would kill him off until next season, close to the end of the series. I DON'T KNOW
ARRRGGGGHHHH!!!!!
But I do love this show! This has been a fantastic season! |

Well, do we know of any Hurley-centric episodes coming up? If there is one, that could be when they arc-out his storyline.
And I'm still convinced we're going to see Sayid bite it pretty soon. "He's Our You" couldn't have been more obvious as his swan song. |

Charlie was kind & loving : Sayid is a killer
Yep, I agree that it'll be Sayid. I'll be sad to see him go but not nearly as sad as I was when Charlie died. His death tore me up. |

I was thinking that one won't be a woman, just because that was my initial thought with the whole "physical difference" thing, and then I decided
that's what we're supposed to think and it's probably hair color or something. Either way, that clue should rule out Sawyer, for that death
anyways.
