Pink was pre-recorded. I think all the ones they cut out were already taped footage. With more live performers signing up, they opted for that. They'll probably show some of the taped stuff in coming weeks.

Who gives a shit when what was taped...the finished product was great, and WILL win an Emmy. (or several.) To answer the question, I say Josh Groban first, Carrie Underwood 2nd, fat Kelly and the INCREDIBLE guitarist 3rd. ETA: above was QUALITY of performance...not necessarily "biggest star" order. |
