I know there were others "rumored" to be on, but I didn't see them. I also thought it was lame to advertise that "Gwyneth Paltrow will be stopping by to support the show" - she danced in a goofy commercial that she probably had no idea she was dancing in.

Really great record. And wasnt Daniel Radcliffe supposed to be on as well? Did they just throw out a bunch of celebrity names and hope that some of them would show up? And what was the deal with Tom Cruise being on for half a second, and only in talking about the number of funerals he's been to? Did they really film him for this show, or is that stock footage from some movie of his?

Really great record. I don't follow music stats so enlighten me. I'm Not Dead wasn't doing well til U+UR Hand was released as her next single and got tons of airplay? So...b/c of that single now her CD is selling? I'm confused..I have the album and I love most of the songs - #1,2,3,5,7,8,9,10,13. The others I just hate.

"I'm Not Dead" was pretty much about to be chalked up as a failure because "Stupid Girls" chart performance was considered a disappointment and the next 2 singles "Who Knew" and "U + UR Hand" tanked. But then for some random reason "U + UR Hand" started getting airplay quite a long time after the single had already peaked and fallen off Billboard once. The single is doing VERY well now and although it hasn't pushed the whole album back to the top ten or anything, it seems to have persuaded her label to reconsider giving up on the album altogether. From what I've read in Billboard, her label is going to begin promoting "Who Knew" again in hopes it (deservedly) becomes the hit that it wasn't the first time around. Seems like after "Who Knew"- the label is considering "Leave Me Alone" or "Long Way To Happy" as a potential 4th Single. The album is fantastic, there's only maybe 2 weak songs on the whole deal and I'm very happy it's finally getting some attention. After her "Try This" album flopped, I was starting to worry about Pink's future.

It all went downhill from there...though I did enjoy the singles from her sophmore album, I never bought Misundaztood (sp?).

She and Justin Guarini were in the same class in middle school (they went on to sister high schools) and those two kids could not have been any MORE different. Hard to believe that she'd tread on Justin's old turf...

Ask Shakira if it was in her style to appear. Her album was a complete flop. They 're-release' the album with 'Nips Don't Lie' - the same day, she appears on Idol with Wyclef - shakes her ass and sings that catchy ass song. It BLOWS UP on Itunes and becomes, along with 'Crazy', the big 'summer song'. We are supposed to believe that certain artists are too 'cool' or dont have 'street cred' if they do Idol. Hell, Gwen Stefani. Even those douchebag Good Charlotte buttmunchers were on the think on Wed. Fuckin' Marilyn Manson would do an IDOL guest gig with Venom, Dimmu Borgir, Death Cab for Cutie and GG Allen's corpse to sell records.....

They both will be shown at a later date, and yes, they were both pre-taped.
