This is just awful.. I feel soooo bad for Archie.. and right after his Christmas album was released. He's probably gonna be hit with all kinds of

The couple had previously filed for divorce in 2002 but reconciled soon after David placed first in the Star Search competition.Aww, so Archie's success was the reason they stayed together back then. The prostitute thing aside, it's probably not a coincidence that Jeff's leaving now that Archie is 18.

Shocking...not.
They both seem like tools, especially the father. It sucks for the kids but honestly if the marriage is that bad and they've filed for divorce before I'm sure the kids know and it might be better off. |

Dont feel bad for him, his father was a complete control freak. Not to mention a huge dickwad cheater.
He's better off without the douche. But Archie is so fragile and whimpy that he practically has a vagina, so Im sure he'll need therapy for this. |

It sucks for the kids but honestly if the marriage is that bad and they've filed for divorce before I'm sure the kids know and it might be better off. My idiot parents bickered throughout mine and my brother's teens, but didn't divorced until the youngest turned 18, under the delusional notion that "staying together" would be better for the kids. When they announced their divorced me we were all like "What took you so long?" And when they told us their reason, were livid, because watching your parents fight almost every single day was a healthy childhood. Archie needs to get away from his folks. Why is the wife the one paying alimony? |

She's paying child support not alimony. Both agreed to no alimony but apparently the wife will need to pay dickhead some child support.
There's probably lots of ins and outs to custody and child support but wouldn't it depend on who makes more money? If they wife has/makes more money and the father needs additional financial support to care for the children's needs I guess she's the one who has to pay. Douchebag Jeff probably doesn't have a real job b/c he's been Archie's "manager" all this time. |
