Not to mention she totally kicks ass in every Mental (or part of a) Challenge she participates in. So, Monica has her great moments, and is, personally, someone I can root for. Is she a "Great Strategist"? Certainly not, but most definately the best Galu strategist at this point in the game. (Not that there are any contenders whatsoever to that title) Sddorme, eat you heart out.

Russell has long passed being an actual person and turned into a caricature created by his ego and editors .Shambo is intolerable and everyone else left is either non existent or has been a total letdown. It say's more about the shittiness of season that the only thing left is to try and build up the hot chick into a power player that likely doesn't exist.

If they'd only listened to Monica next episode about Russell having the idol, she'd be in a decent spot. John\Erik\Shambo killed that team - guys playing too hard tool fast, and Shambo being a bitter bitch. Monica and Laura would have had to be genius players to work around those 3 and Russell and R's HII. But they are only above average players, not great players.

You claim that it was a good move for Laura/Monica to get Erik out before he got them, but when Shambo decides to go after Laura/Monica before they can get her out, you call her bitter... Many of the ex-Galu members wanted Shambo out next, so why wouldn't she flip? She's going from the bottom of a 6 person tribe to the bottom of a 5 person tribe. I don't see Shambo's situation being all that different from what Erinn did last season, but Erinn gets praised for her alleged strategic prowess, while I think a lot of people carry an anti-Shambo bias. That being said, I'm not particularly cheering for Shambo, but I still think Shambo > Monica. Sure, Monica's had like 2 good ideas, but hasn't had the power or influence to execute those plans, whereas Shambo has had both ideas and power, and somehow made effective moves.
