Anybody who thinks Jordin will be anywhere close to the final 2 is delusional. Sorry. Her performance this week was a lot better than previous, and even then it was only marginally better than Sanjaya (ok, than most of the guys too.)
If she DOES make it to the final two I'll do a nice thin chop of her as penance. |

I just listened to her studio version. FUCKING LOVE her.
Aside from looking sort of like Kimberly Locke, she sounds very much like her as well. Her voice is just as good as Melinda/FucKisha only she's got a personality that is very likeable and she isn't being pimped down my throat. It's sad if she isn't in the Top 2 this season which realistically is a long shot b/c she's the best teen in the comp. IMO ever and is just as good vocally as any other winner. She's got the whole package. |

She's cute, has a fun personality and is good to listen to. I hope she makes top 4 at a minimum.

I didn't think she sounded like Kimberly Locke on the show but when I heard the studio recording I thought the 1st couple lines sounded just like her. If someone told me it was KLO I would have believed them during the beginning parts of the song..not so much as it really goes into the power notes.
Melinda/FucKisha may have a bit more power but Jordin has lots of power and control in her own right and has the ability to not make every song she sings sound boring and like it should be heard in either a lounge bar or church choir. She's someone I'd actually want to listen to. |

Jordin so obviously owns Kim Locke. Kim is mediocre at best and she's really old now. Jordin is so young and already has a practically flawless voice (well, from what I've heard so far and excluding her performance of Reflection :p).

IN Jordin's studio version all those that don't think she sounds like Kim Locke listen to specifically the line 'SO far, don't throw it away' at the beginning.
That is interchangeable w/ Kim Locke's voice especially the SO FAR part. It's uncanny. There are many other parts but that's just to give you an idea. |
