I may not always cheer her on now, but when she first auditioned I knew she would either win or be in the finale. Her audition blew me away. I loved it.
Just wanted to add that, because this thread has pretty much no posts compared to Blake's. lol |

all I can say is yuck. I loved Jordin's audition and at that time thought she could win it. However, she just didn't do as well down the stretch. What a pathetic show that Melinda isn't even in the Final 2. I loved Jording initially but the more I see of her the more she grates.
Oh heck, what could I expect? Not once has my favorite contestant gone on to win...not Tamyra, not Clay...and the rest, I didn't really have any favorites, but the ones I hated did win: Carrie Underwood and Taylor and Fantasia...guess it's just time for me to stop watching this shitfest. At least I don't hate Jordin but I really don't care to see her giggling in my face on every tv channel for the next six months. Blake vs. Jordin...how pathetic. Blake should never have made top 25 let alone be F2. |

As much as I liked Melinda and how consistent she's been all season - it's just that. Yes she deserved to be in the final - but certainly not at Jordin's expense. At Blake's, probably - but moreso the fans (or producers). But Jrodin has had more than one good performance this season - I Who Have nothing wasn't the only one. I won't bother to name the others because those who are still bitter will just stubbornly refute it.
Yes, she hasn't turned out a lot of phenom performances like some expected. But she's turned out to be a better candidate for the finale than last year's teeny-bopper Lisa Tucker. |

I think Jordin's one of the most talented contestants ever on Idol. I don't see why people think she's not worthy of being in the final 2. She's certainly better than either of last year's final 2.

^^^ Completely agree!! People don't realize what an amazing voice/range she has. Not that Barry Gibb is an authority, but he even said how great she is. She got me with her song on British week, and I stayed with her ever since ... even though her performances have been up and down.

Oh yeah, she's way better than Lisa Tucker. There's a feat. Can you even imagine if she didn't have "I Who Have Nothing" in her repertoire? I mean Jesus fucking Christ. She hasn't got a single other thing going for her. And that still puts her above Blake. Hilarious. I'd say this season finale is a huge win for VFTW either way.
