Wishin' On A Star: Good (kinda agreed with Simon on the terrible arrangement)
She Works Hard For The Money: Loved it.
I Who Have Nothing: OK. Much preferred her earlier performance.

I'm not sure I believe that Jordin has ever worked hard for the money, hard for her honey.

Jordin was very MEH tonight. Very generic-ish. I really don't care if her or Blake make it to the final round with Melinda at this point.

I still love Jordin and all, but she does need to stop acting like she's YOUNGER than 17 years old. Yes, she's not as seasoned as Princess P from last season, but she is giggling worse than Vonzell.
I thought she did okay on her first 2 songs. Her reprise of I Who Have Nothing still shows she has the biggest chops in the competition. She changed it up slightly. Dare I say, softened it a little - it didn't invoke the sadness that it did it in Brit week. But I thought the one in Brit week was more powerful. But she lost major points with me last night: --- Favorite song of all time: Mmm Bop by Hanson Almost DEAD.TO.ME |

Jordin WANTS this too badly...
Her rambling, needy goofiness is grating... So , a Blehke win and resulting teary meltdown by Jordin will make me happy. |

A fancier studio version of "I Who Have Nothing" BETTER be on her album.

I like her. Better than Blake, but each week, she shows more and more precociousness, and that's a TOTAL turn off.

I'd be happy with a Jordin win, but she hasn't been quite as good lately. Up until the final four or so, I thought she had been steadily improving and quietly emerged as a front-runner. Hopefully she'll start picking less old-fashioned songs.
Jordin would make for a good winner and will probably have a decent-selling debut album. |

I've liked her for a long time, but she's lucky she survived this down swing in her performances. She better ramp it up next week. Don't they usually reprise a performance in the finale? What will she do now that she's already redone her season highlight (IWHN)?

Tonight's elimination was a major killjoy for me.
I really like Jordin but after Melinda got the boot I just immediately didn't really give a fuck anymore. Any joy Jordin winning might have brought me won't happen. If she wins good for her, if she doesn't oh well, just another singer robbed. |
