Since I've had the swine flu, I am immune. I laugh at all those poor fuckers stressing out about not being able to get their shot.

My son got the shot a little over a month ago. He got the flu from it and was out of school for a week. He is out this week with the swine flu AGAIN.
My daughter got the mist with the live virus about a week ago so maybe that is where he caught it from.
My friend is a teacher at my sons school and she says 1/3 of all the teachers are sick and there has been over 150 absent kids each day for the past week and a half. Considering the school only has 470 students, that is pretty substantial. |

The sheer stupidity in this thread is breathtaking in its scope.

Every year, the regular ol' puke and fever flu kills around 30,000 people in the US. This PIGGY SNIFFLES hysteria is almost comical.

My son got the shot a little over a month ago. He got the flu from it and was out of school for a week. You cannot get the flu from the vaccine. He either already had the flu or got the flu before the vaccine kicked in. I don't think you are immune from it because you had the swine flu. If you get a strain and recover, you're now immune to that strain, so the shot won't do anything...as long as you're sure that you were sick from that strain. Strains do eventually mutate which is why you need a shot every year, but as far as this season goes, if you already got swine flu, you're not gonna get swine flu again. |

The town my girls go to school in (different than where we live) had the shots/mist and were giving them out to kids in the town's schools in 3rd grade and
lower. Of course, mine were in 4th grade so I was disappointed I wouldn't be able to sign them up. Today was the day they were giving them out. I heard
through the grapevine they had extra and were giving them out to older siblings, so I brought my kids to see if they could get vaccinated. They had enough so
they were able to get the mist.
