It sounds like something fun to do to fuck with people and get a few cheap laughs. I'm for it, even though I'm sure I've broken this rule a few times. I think I finally found an avatar worth sticking with, at least until I get bored with it.

Avatars are only disabled in their OT forum. Stopping the avatars from loading also stops any pictures that actually might be interesting from loading. I hope you don't work with anything that requires accuracy.

Because it seems to me a brief tutorial on how to activate that feature would serve as a much preferable alternative to this whole debacle. If your computer can't handle a feature of a board, I say it's up to the user who owns that computer to disable that feature, not up to everyone else to be denied usage of it. It's not like a majority of people are in the former party, either, judging by the only poll that's been taken on the topic. Most people function just fine.
