It's true. 19 SEASONS of this stuff and we're still coming back for more.
Most tv series run 26 episodes in a season so even if we count 26 eps as a full season, we're still coming on 10 YEARS of Survivor.
Had you told me watching Hatch and the Gang all those years ago that I'd still be watching this show 19 seasons in, I'd have called bullshit.
Yet here we are. We have our host, our formula, our cozy 8AM on Thursdays time slot. We get a Reunion show with which to unwind which neither BB nor TAR has. Nobody does really, save for Survivor. We get hot girls and guys, crazy personalities, a show that has NEVER ONCE COMPLAINED ABOUT THEIR MATERIAL ENDING UP ON YOUTUBE!
While BB takes down every fucking clip, Survivor has always been about the fans.
And yet...we complain about everything.
