I'm struggling with this latest episode

Her value to the team was greatly overshadowed by her lack of any physical contribution. They weren't eliminated, they just lost and it's totally Maria's fault. Just like it was totally Mika's fault that her team lost, too. Neither detour task was THAT hard -- both required some degree of skill, persistence and consistency. And both detours required that each partner contribute to complete the task and Maria just didn't do her part. Stop crying foul -- Maria was as lamer, maybe lamer, than Mika. And don't forget that Sam gave the 62 answer to them -- that saved them time and reduced their stress. They should have been at the top of their game, not the bottom. Maria who sucked more than a clam at high tide.

Or how they escaped elimination in Vietnam? The only rigging that goes on is the transportation bunching -- and it hurts the lead team and helps the laggards.
