(AP) ― The sheriff who oversaw "Survivor" winner Richard Hatch's time in a Massachusetts jail says Hatch is lying about his treatment behind bars. Hatch complained to NBC's "Today" show Tuesday that sheriff's deputies took him away in his boxer shorts in August after he granted unauthorized TV interviews while serving the remainder of his federal tax evasion sentence on home confinement. Barnstable County Sheriff James Cummings says Hatch refused to get dressed. Hatch, who lives in Rhode Island, was known for walking around naked on the CBS reality show. Hatch also complained of serving solitary confinement in a filthy cell, but Cummings said Hatch wasn't in solitary confinement and Hatch himself inspected the cell to make sure it was clean before he stayed in it. Cummings calls Hatch "a stranger to the truth."

Unfortunately I will need to hear from the IRS because Hatch's word is worth absolutely nothing right now. Just about everything he is saying does not withstand ANY scrutiny whatsoever. I think he is pure narccisst, that he spent so much time thinking he was cleverer then he really was, and he often tries to speak with intelligent words thinking that he is smart. He does not realize that speaking as if you were intelligent does not make you intelligent. Shii Ann has the same problem. He said that his accountant was not allowed to testifie. That is a pure lie, because his accountant was subpoenaed by the Prosecution and it was his testimony that helped put Hatch away.

He's talking about jury selection you dumb bitch. ie hadn't been to jail yet what a dumbass

Here's a little tip for you, free of charge: If you're going to post about someone thinking they are "cleverer" than they really are, you should probably at least learn how to use spellcheck.

While all of this is well and true, taxation is still legalized theft.

He testified that he was approached by Hatch to produce a tax statement that was what he would have made IF HE HAD NOT BEEN ON SURVIVOR, he said he just wanted it to see where he would be without it. The Accountant complied but it had a "THIS IS FOR COMPARITIVE PURPOSES". The Accountant testified to all this at the trial. Richard Hatch's defense team DID NOT choose to cross exam the man. When it was the defense time, the judge balked claiming that the Accountant had already testified AND THEY CHOSE NOT TO CROSS EXAMINE HIM. *His claim about his lien's. One of the reasons the IRS has been so hard on Hatch is he is NOT giving up where his money is/went. For all they know it is in some accountant in the Cayman islands. Hatch has never paid the tax and still owes it- it did not go anywhere.
