I don't think any seasons have been truly predictable otherwise a person wouldn't watch it. Even if they guessed who was getting voted out or who the winner would be the show is about more than just those things. Even if you've read spoilers you'd probably be curious to see how things happen.

Etc... no edgic was in its prime and could reliably predict the winner so aras was the only person who could win ei, yul ci, earl fiji, etc. terry and cirie were obvious distractions and i still don't get how anyone could think ozzy could win with his all over the place edit and with him being INV at the merge. tom was the golden boy and top dog, aras was the only stable character, yul was the mastermind, earl was the king. i don't include todd because he was too OTT and amanda almost made more sense so china was the beginning of edgic starting to fail.

For a great many its a fancy name for reading spoilers and basing your winner picks on that. :) And the deep, dark secret that the edgic people like to pretend didn't happen is that Jonathan and Ozzy had a ton of edgic support during Cook Islands. It was never the unanimous Yul victory that they'd have you believe. Can't speak for Palau, was before my time here! :P But I have heard that it was one of the most spoiled seasons ever, so if edgic did good during that season, I'm not surprised...

I do agree that Thailand was somewhat predictable but TS has a point, you never know in survivor, Brian couldve easily been taken out as a threat in the final 5 and then the goats go to the final 2. I think sometimes it can be more interesting when there is a pagonging watching a group have to scramble and publicly argue with the group in charge. It's fun when a group has nothing to lose so why not act crazy a la Cooks.

For me predictable is being able to see what will happen and/or who will be booted 2 or 3 episodes ahead of time. And that's happened in a few seasons. And yes, some winners are given to us on a silver platter right in episode 1. You can't honestly tell me that Yul and Earl's wins were just as unpredictable as Danni and Vecepia's.

Can't speak for Palau, was before my time here! :P But I have heard that it was one of the most spoiled seasons ever, so if edgic did good during that season, I'm not surprised... edgic made sense for that period of time because the winner kept being the same leading male. they kept editing the winner the same way and the other characters the same way. so it became more and more predictable. plus the assumption is always that the top dog is going to win, so it's lame when the top dog does win like in thailand/palau/ei/ci/fiji/china/tocantins. i agree though that edgic has been reduced to nothing now though. the only rule that remains is that the winner always has a good first episode which is still usually enough to narrow down the field to only a couple possibilities

It was really hard for me to predict that JT's gonna win, because I thought nobody in the game was so dumb to not have JT voted out before they merged. Stephen screwed the whole season basically, with his seemingly brainy ideas and fabrications or plan or something that's close to plan but totally foolish. He should've known that he wasn't gonna win if he went to the F2 or F3 with JT. All he need to do was just to watch previous seasons, which turned out he didn't therefore making the whole show pathetic

Then Cassandra and Dreamz fell off the radar and were eliminated, and pretty much the only ones left in the running were Yau-Man and Earl. I guess it worked that season. Until you remember that the Fiji boot order was completely spoiled before the season aired.

I don't even understand your second sentence. And plus Stephen was his friend and alliance member. The only time that he could've gotten away with voting out JT was F4 because he was totally safe from that point forward BUT JT went on an immunity run so there was no chance in it happening.
