I'm not sure it'll be about "avoiding" as much as not having the ability to convince the artists to come back and "compete" again. Why would any of them do that? To be all stars they'd have to be the most successful ones because no one wants to see John Stevens and EJ Day.... |

It wouldn't work that well. Those that are 'successful' like Kelly, Carrie and Jordin all have busy schedules and the semi-successful ones like
Cookie, Archie and Boomie have other priorities.
Plus I can't see the popular ones (like those 6) having 11-12 weeks of free time to do an all stars season. |

It wouldn't be a full-season, most likely a sweeps week stunt where they would just come on the show for one week for charity or something.

Uh, no. For one thing, everything everyone else already said. For another, the top 12 to the finale is only like half the season anyway.
It would be a hilarious trainwreck though. Scott slaying Clay, Fantasia, Taylor, etc. <3 |

I liked the idea they had a few years back...
1 episode, bring back 8 or 10 former contestants, have them each sing one of the proposed "coronation" songs, fans vote for which one they liked the best. It would do a huge number, allow for the show to brag about how successful their peeps have been, and be a nice nod to long-time fans. But yea, an actual "All-Star" season I don't see happening. No rhyme or reason to it. |

they should just have an AI all-stars concert, bring together all the winners and popular contestants for one big concert event. maybe something to launch
season 10.

show more ratings.
