We have a couple of franchises here that are not found anywhere else in Canookia. Like for instance, I was surprised to learn that we're the only province to have Church's Chicken (they're a lot of them in the deep southern states like Alabama). I can take those Lactaid brand pills for certain things but it sometimes works and sometimes doesn't, based on my stomach and how I'm feeling overall. I'm severely lactose intolerant. I can digest a small amount of chocolate or a small amount, i mean small of cheese, like half a slice but anything over a fingered portion is too much. I've never heard of Church's Chicken but I know from other people too how over there you guys have a shitload of things we don't which sucks. I think y'all have everything we got so we are at a bit of a disadvantage. We did get Telus in the east which is great cause they are my preferred mobile carrier. Im not a fan of Krispy Kreme. I don't know how well they do out west but over here, they have been shut down some and they are losing business big time to Timmy's. Canookians over here haven't embraced it for the most part, it's huge in America.

I personally find it nasty--way too much sugar. There's this one last Krispy Kreme that I know of in Mississauga; I haven't seen anymore anywhere else in the GTA. They just sell them in Wal-Mart now. Why is every thread turning into a discussion about MikiBoi? This one is now about his diet. What subject about MikiBoi can we turn the Theo thread into?

It's a small group of us posting so we just rant off but yeah. I'm not some centre of attention whore or anything, DC. I never seen too many Krispy places myself, I just heard from people years back how some shut down cause they were dead in the water from lack of business. I find them too sugary too. I prefer Timmy's doughnuts, the french cruler is the best with a Timmy's coffee. Ironcially, Timmy's never picked up in the states too

The 18 stores which opened in Canada, out of 32 planned, have since been reduced to 6 stores. Three of those exist in Quebec (in Laval, Greenfield Park, and Quebec City.) and other three stores are in Calgary, Alberta, Mississauga, Ontario and Surrey, British Columbia. Krispy Kreme's Canadian assets were put up for sale in 2005 seven weeks after the U.S.-based doughnut company had the firm that owns and operates stores in Canada placed under bankruptcy protection. Last time I went to the states (New York area), there were plenty of Timmy's along the way. While it's not as big there, I don't think they're doing too bad and are slowly expanding. Timmy's owns all. Not that I'm much of a coffee drinker, but I've rarely touched the other coffee around here like Starbucks/Second Cup/Timothy's. They seem overpriced anyway compared to Timmy's. And I hate how Starbucks calls their sizes tall, grande, or whatever. WTF is that about? I don't like Dunkin' Donuts either which Americans think are like the greatest ever. Timmy's is much better.

There was a poster on the wall advertising summer camps that Tim Horton's sponsors and it had pictures of several Timmy branches - most were located in Ontario. I had to do a double take when I saw they had a lone branch in Kentucky.

The "best" singers in this top 24 are so much worse than one-and-done scrubs from any random AI audition. For instance the guy who lost 204 pounds blows them all out of the water. They are just so bad. The guy that did "It's Too Late" and this fat cow are "OK", but really. The fucking rest, I swear to god I am way better when doing drunken karaoke Greenday. This show used to be a fun summer-time distraction, but I'm afraid it's over between us. Also it's stupid how another AI reject, Tatiyana or whatever is like a favorite on this piece of shit even though she's horrible and average. Bye.
