Usually Horror Movies aren't the focus of the Academy Awards, well the acting categories that is. Which performances do you feel were so good that they
were snubbed from getting a oscar nomination? It has to be from a Horror movie though.

Deborah Kerr in The Innocents.
She was nominated for 6 Oscars in the 50's and 60's but arguably the best performance of her career went unrecognized in it's time . No Oscar or Bafta or Critics Awards when it came out. The Innocents is as creepy as any Horror film from that era even Psycho or Peeping Tom. |
