I have no problem with Bobby Jon losing the fire challenge against Steph. However i find it ironic coz it was Bobby that taught Steph how to make fire
probarly. I guess Bobby Jon was a good teacher. I know from Palau commentary that when Steph realized it was fire challenge, her first though was i am going
home tonight asap. There no change i am going to win against Bobby making fire.
However my biggest beef was that i have strong feeling that Survivor producer changed ruled when they delayed the merge by one episode. They probably thought. Hey guys if we delay the merge for one episode and Ulong loses again. It will be the first in Survivor history.
They didn't realize that with Bobby Jon gone. Steph became dead women walking when she joined Koror tribe. She had no change. She survived one vote when Coby was voted out. Steph was supposed to go after Coby but then Survivor producer stepped in again(janu) realizing back then, it was probably a mistake not to have merge at ten as usual. If they had merge at ten with Bobby Jon and Steph joining Koror. Who knows what would have happened? I know from Survivor Live interviews with Tom Westman that he wanted Bobby Jon in the jury. Tom and Ian had approached Bobby Jon with alliance during the first 3 days before they were divided into 2 tribes so clearly they respected Bobby Jon. If they had merge at ten i wouldn't have been surprised that Coby or Janu would have been voted out before Bobby Jon and Steph. At least i would have given Steph more days to scrabble to save herself.as original Koror would probably target Bobby Jon before her.
