TS, you know I think you're awesome for sharing in the Ken love, but I gotta disagree with you on Micronesia here. I really did enjoy it despite the
setbacks and the 4 For Showmance Alliance taking control of things (damn Bonaduce) and Jonathan leaving. I can understand how you might not like it, but I
can't say I agree with you on it.

I loved Micronesia, and while well-rounded editing is always great, I didn't really mind the diluted edits some of the fans got. I despised Jason and
Joel, thought Natalie made a big enough impact even with like 10 UTR/INV episodes and I definitely wouldn't want any more Alexis than what was shown.

I'm not all bitter towards Chris and Yul the way you are towards Amazon Jenna and Onion Bob for pwning your faves. I respect their game. |

Micronesia's the only season where I think you really had to like the endgame players to appreciate the season. You could hate the Tagi 4 but still enjoy
Borneo; you could find Tina, Colby, Elisabeth and Rodger totally self-righteous but still like Outback; etc. But if you didn't like the Black Widow Brigade
(particularly Cirie and Parvati) there was nothing to get invested in. There were a handful of neat blindsides but other than Erik's, once you know how
they end up, all the life is sucked out of the episode--which is relatively rare on Survivor, believe it or not.
It's not awful but I really have a tough time getting into it. |

I don't think it's that unique, actually. I think people feel that way about ASS too. People go into returning seasons already invested in certain
people, and that usually does not change. So either people you like do well or you rage against the entire season. A lot of people will be butthurt by s20 too,
regardless of the outcome.
