Before hand, did anyone here think that a fan would actually win? I wasn't too sure upon watching when the show was shown of TV, but once the merge hit i knew that a favorite had this game in the bag. Erik and Jason were jokes and Natalie and Alexis were too UTR for me picturing them winning, although we have seen stranger things happen. It wasn't until the Jason boot that i thought Natalie ever had a chance of winning but it never really solidified into anything.
The blindsides were really great, i still get shocked watching Erik give up immunity and Ozzy/Jason fail to play their idols. Plus Alexis boot was amazing, even though i'm not a huge fan of Amanda
I think the best blindside was the final two twist at the last second, Cirie, Amanda and Parvati totally thought that they were going to the Final Tribal. Watching them cry upon finding out they would be having one more challenge was great TV.
Regardless of how you thought about him during the game, it really was upsetting seeing Jonathan go. I'm not so sure that he would have made it to the end of the game, but i think the game would have really been changed. Kathy said with him gone she had no rock and felt alone and was one of the reasons for quitting. I felt pretty bad for him.
As for James, i think that situation was a little overblown, I think that he would have gone that episode anyway with the women's alliance in full swing. But it was good TV and helped set up Alexis hilarious blindside.
I think some of the challenges were great, some of my favorites, loved the final immunity challenge.
Some of this season's best moments
- Fans reactions at seeing the favorites
- Race to find the idols, JFP getting his head smashed by Yau, Kathy getting hers from Yau
- Everybody trusting JFP, and he goes and quits to preserve the legacy of JFP. I personally would have loved to see him play
- Mary Who?
- The Lovers alliance along with Cirie goes against one of my favorite alliances ever of Ami/Eliza/Jonathan/Yau
- Chet being bullied and dragged around by Joel
- Tracey coming from behind and taking out Joel and Mikey B
- Chet has the potential to change the game and save Tracey and Erik on Malakal, but hes too tired and askes to go
- Ami threatening Erik with the machete, Love Ami and hate how she played this season EX: Getting hand stuck in the cookie jar
- Kathy Quits and Penner leaves
- Its just a fucking stick!
- The Blindsides, which i've mentioned.
- Blindside of the final two
- Natalie's awkward jury question
- Amanda ruins the Final Tribal Council for herself, AGAIN
- Seeing Parvati redeem herself to win the money
Anything else?
All in all i think it was a fantastic season with a bad rap. I do wish they had shown some of the early boots a little more.
