been watching and she has some good guests...like the panels
one thing is that she will have to cover some pop culture to make it interesting...and she rarely participates on The View have no problem with her editorials...she would have to read them as it's all timed on TV. just don't like the time...opposite my news and TMZ  ... can't miss that..

I like Joy, and did well enough covering for Larry King, but I find her too leading in her own show. She was able to keep her neutrality as Larry King does
when covering for him, but I think she is trying too much to be the emotional woman interviewer.
Watching tonight a C- for her show. |

I love Joy but have to say what I've seen so far has been a bit underwhelming. Although I enjoyed her interviews with Kathy Griffin and Vanessa Williams.

I used to love her back in the early 90's. Went to see her perform live and her interview series at the 95th street Y a bunch of times. But I got really
tired of her on The View and think I'll pass on any new show she is hosting.

I've watched every night. My only complaint is the constant rerunning of interviews. Friday night was a mixture of new and old shit.
So glad to have something besides Larry King to watch now. |

I like her but when I've watched it doesn't grab me and keep me from reaching for the remote to channel surf. I think she should have do e this years
ago. Maybe she is in training to take over for Larry King, which would be better. And 6 pm isn't convenient for me.

i like joy. i will admit that she is my third choice for the 9pm spot. if there is nothing on *regular* tv, i watch larry king and if he is boring, i go to
joy. if i am up late, i do watch her repeat. i think she is doing well and will improve.
i do channel surf with joy but i do with larry, too. |

Good point, Rosie should have her own one on one type news show like this.

I agree...Rosie totally should be doing this show. I think she was in talks with MSNBC post-View but it never panned out. Now I've been reading her and
Kelly are having probs
So sad.

I think when Larry does retire, they are going to hand the reigns over to someone like Ryan Seacrest
I bet Barbara Walters is secretly glad Joys show isn't doing too hot in the ratings. And I'm sure Starr is. |

What the heck? Susie Essman did a segment and then they said they'd be back for another, but my HLN shows a local news bit, then it came back and she
introduced the botoxed Shandling. Does that happen to anyone else?

He was on Bill Mahar's show last week and he was awful. It was uncomfortable watching (and listening) to him. I never found him interesting, but now
he's even worse.
