Hardly. If there was a betting scandal that said Natalie wins, I would 100% agree that she is the winner. So far everything that points to a Natalie win is a
combination of speculation, wishful thinking and making the same mistakes as in S15 when everyone was so convinced that Amanda had the game wrapped up. In fact
I remember people saying Todd wouldn't even get a single jury vote.
So let's wait until after final tribal council and the revealing of the votes before popping the champagne in celebration of a Natalie win, shall we? Her edit is so far beyond the realm of the usual winner's edit that I won't believe it until I actually see it happen. If it does happen, I'll be the first to congratulate her. |

The betting is only one of many things that point to a possible Nat win. As to scandals? In the past betting has been shut down when a large
number of bets come in from a geographical areal of one of the final contestants. In other words, the betting is not following what would be considered
"normal" even distribution of the originating bets. (boy that was a clumsy sentence.) Anyway, not saying you are right or wrong but I wouldn't
put all my eggs in one basket. There are JP's comments, the players comments, missyaye's spoilers, TDT spoilers among other items to take into
consideration. (What I find most indicative of Mick not winning is the perception of his ability as a tribal leader.... which has been uniformly bad. Why
show us these moments when he is criticized as a leader if he is going to end up your eventual winner?) However, it is possible from all of these to surmise /
deduce either a Mick or Nat win. I am certainly not popping the cork on anything yet.
As to a typical "winners" edit? What is that? The producers have changed up their MO since the advent of this site, the edgic logic, and the spoiling community in order to keep the winner hidden as long as possible. I do agree, however, that speculation is speculation and until the final vote is tallied nobody knows who the winner will be. LOL Peace and Love |

Russell reminds me of the wrestler I used to watch when I was a little kid, Stone Cold Steve Austin. None of you will get that reference Yeah, because Austin is so obscure and all... |

In this season, survivorcuz and SU both have said that Russell receives no votes and missy has basically stated that her source says that Russell doesnt win. 2 of the 3 sources are saying that Natalie wins and the other has commented on the matter. And again I will say that its hypocritical to believe missy for the Survivor 20 winner and not the Survivor 19 winner just because its not what you want to hear. Your either in total love with Mick or denial, pick your poison. |

Out of the people left, who is playing the best game?
There are two different aspects to it. The best game for getting to the finals? Definitely Russell. The best game for jury votes? I'd say a toss-up between Natalie and Brett. Looking at them, they're the only ones who have made some strong moves to ensure their positions and they're so likable. A combination of strong strategic moves mixed with the likability that they have. http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2009/12/survivor-samoas-monica-padilla-russell-wont-win-the-million-dollars.html Reality TV World: You've already mentioned Mick and Jaison maybe being a little leery of Russell, and you and Brett had that conversation with Mick in the shelter. Was there any point where you really thought you could successfully convince Foa Foa to turn on Russell or did you consider it a longshot all along? Monica: You're sitting there and you're starving and you're hungry -- you've been out there for 33 days -- you really think, "I can play this up. I can work these people. I can do this." I think definitely you have hope in what you can do. But there's only so much you can do when you have people who are sticking around just to make it to the next move and really aren't playing aggressively to win the $1 million. They're just happy that they were able to sway the numbers in their favor and at that point they're like, "Well, I made it a lot farther than I would of. Let's just keep going with our same initial plan." I don't know if that plan will get you to the $1 million. I doubt that a plan like that will get you to the $1 million. http://www.realitytvworld.com/news/exclusive-monica-padilla-talks-about-survivor-samoa-10094.php TVGuide.com: At this point in the game, who do you expect or hope to see make it to the finale?

Cindi - the key word you said was - apparently. But in the case of the pictures and someone posting exactly what they were about to watch that night on the
show - thats not - apparently. I wouldnt make the Stone Cold Steve Austin comparison though - Steve Williams was portrayed as a bad dude but when he got home
and off the tv- he beat up his wives in real life.

Natalie can totally fuck this up with a pathetic Neleh-style FTC speech. Everybody on the jury could go in rooting for her and end up nauseated. So while I
think she seems to have a tad of an edge at the moment, like so many others in the past she may disappoint in the end. She seems very capable of that kind of
"little princess" speech.
I always want to slap these idiots at the FTC. There hasn't been a decent speech since Todd. |
