trixie, i lived in a place between living with Mike and living where i live now, where the kitchen was INFESTED with cockroaches. so i didnt want to cook
there... you know. ick. :) tho it was good times up there ;) but it was too much for me. im pretty sure i was smoking crack there and didnt even know it.

actually no, i doubt i was smoking crack, but i smelled it in the hallways. it was a great place to get away from mike at the time. and came at the perfect
time. and i had great times up in harlem. but it was like my best wish come true, really REALLY living on big brother but like not so much cuz there was no
prize at the end. i was sad when i moved out but at the same time i had to do it for Duke. duke now gets a dog walker during the day who comes here when me and
my roommate are at work, he gets the best food, he has a great vet up the block, he has a dog friend who lives here, and he has my roommat eand his boyfriend
who walk him a lot and me too. he gets like 6 walks a day. even tho im paying so much more here than i would living in a crappy area of nyc i think it's
worth it. duke is like almost 9 now and his LE is about 12 i think so i want to make his last few years the best i can.

Mostly boredom. I like my peace and quiet these days, although my exciting years obviously were boring compared to your average days. :p

my roommate's beagle HOWLS every morning at like 6 am to eat.. she is great tho. i love her. if he only knew that a BEAGLE lives here?! i guess that is
just life being ironic. tho not ironic at all, just more electromagnetic or something. of course Duke loves him and his boyfriend and runs down to sleep with
them downstairs. that's okay, ive been sleeping alone for like 2 years now and i LOVE it. i dont even have the desire to find a boyfriend anymore. is that
good or bad? if it happens it happens, but i think im sooooo much better off without dealing with other people think or dealing with that kind of crap. perhaps
if i found someone who could deal with me, but that might be a long shot. so i wont think about it. i have journals from like 1998,99 that say that the year

best part of living here? - non stop of people throwing out great stuff!! just today i found a used gamecube (i shouldnt have taken it cuz im a video game hoarder, but seeing the show Hoarders, im not really.. even tho i already have 2 gamecubes whatever), a winter #!$$#$! i sniffed it. it smelled like laundry. so good to hang up! hahhaha. people throw out great shit here. they dont put it in trash, they just leave it on their stoops with signs that say, please take!!! and i walk like a 2 block radius and get an entire wardrobe, so it makes up for the cost of rent. up in harlem i would never pick thru the trash for free stuff or take stuff off the street tho i did take SOME things off the street in harlem but there is a HUUUUUUGE bedbug epidemic in NYC right now so i wont do that. im very careful. *bfly* |
