Why I still love Zach Morris.
"What is he going to say?" Gosselaar asks. "We were banging groupies at 14? I can't wait to read his book, because I don't have a memory of a lot of the shows. Maybe it was because I was doing lines off of the audience members' asses. I'm sure he's going to write something crazy like that. The way Diamond talks about the others, you'd think there was some big falling out. But as far as I know there wasn't and it really is just bitterness
on his part. I don't recall ever seeing any interviews with the others where they talked bad about him. In fact MPG said in an interview that he was among
those who sent Diamond money during the "Save Screech's House" thing. Everybody who sent him money was supposed to get a shirt in return that
said "I Helped Screech Save His House", and MPG said he never even got that.

I don't remember if it was when he was on the Howard Stern Show or when I saw his stand-up act (hey, I had free tickets and wasn't going to pass up
seeing Screech in person!!) but he said that he didn't hook up with the other cast members but that they always had extras around for the background people
and he use to hook up with a lot of them.

Sure he did... I love Zack Morris, but there was no way I would do anything with Screech to get to Zach.

Diamond is just bitter that he wasn't able to move on from the show. Everybody else went on to do something, or were able to do other things with their
lives.
Diamond will always be Screech and he doesn't want to be. He wants to be Dustin Diamond and it eats him up inside that he can't be. |
