Possible Spoiler For Russell And The Immunity Idol |

Russell found the Immunity Idol that was meant for the OTHER tribe to find. Not the one that someone from HIS thribe was supposed to find at the OTHER camp.
Might be a Twist that its no good for him because he's not from the tribe that was supposed to find it. |

i think it was intended for the other tribe to find, but it is a legitimate idol, and the rules state it can be used if its an actual immunity idol, not who
was intended to find it lol. someone could also have given russell the clue hypothetically and he still found it, wouldn't have made it less legitimate. he
can use it. pointless thread really. i think it should be locked lol.

The rules say alot of things like destrying proerty and such that change and are ignired on a whim.

Jeff specifically said in the TV Guide preview they can only use the HI intended for their camp. This potentially could harm Russell if he tries to play it.

Obviously, the show didn't expect anyone to find an idol without any clues. Silly show. Russell's idol is of course completely legitimate. It even comes with a piece of paper that says so. Next. |

The note to Yasmin also said she can choose to share the information or not, it doesn't specify only with her own tribe. Didn't member from both
tribes in Tocantins look for it together?

Here's the link to the TV Guide Preview (A) that shows what exactly Jeff says about the HII.. starts at the 3:29 mark My take is that he said you can only find the one for your tribe.. and they can only find the one for their tribe. The way this is said, makes me think (and hope) that Russell H CANNOT use the Idol he found, as he didn't find the one for Foa Foa (he found Galu's) (and pure speculation, but I'm guessing the idols look different, so Jeff knows which one is for which tribe) With that being said, I think one of three things will happen - a) he'll either give the HIIto someone to use (after learning he can't use the one he found..) and they'll get blindsided.. b) he (Russell H) will use it (get blindsided) or c) he finds out that he can't use it and tries to make a trade (or actually does make a trade) with Galu for the Foa Foa HII (which is at Galu) |

Probst says "cannot find" in the sense of "aren't given clues to find." Obviously, it never crossed his puny brain that someone could in fact find the stupid idol without being handed any clues as to its whereabouts. But, guess what? Someone found the idol in his own camp. Suck it, Jeff. If people were actually not allowed to USE an idol they found at their own tribe, there would be something on that piece of paper included with the idol that would have said so. As has been said many times in the past, the paper that comes with the idol lays out all the rules surrounding its use, including when and where it can be used. Even if you think Russell is illiterate, Rhodes Scholar Jaison also read that piece of paper and didn't spot anything interesting in it. Russell's idol is good to go. Deal with it, haters.

Russell's idol is good. The whole twist was that Yasmin's clue only helps her find the idol at Foa Foa's camp, and we can assume that Galu's
idol is hidden in a different location and has a different set of clues to go with it. This is unlike the hidden idols in Fiji, China, and Tocantins where
they were hidden in the same location at each camp (in a cave, on the archway, or at tree mail) and thus had the same clues. However, it would have been
perfectly within the rules for Yasmin to, say, tell another Foa Foa member about that idol and then let them find it (just like Todd told James the clue about
Zhan Hu's idol). So both idols can be used by any player.

I did not hear Jeff say at Tribal council 2, if you have the immunity idol and want to play it.....
Even thought Russell had it at that time. Surely Jeff would have been informed by then, too.... |
