Why I love it: An absolute classic. I recently rewatched the Pilot and it was just such a blast to watch. I love the look and feel of it. Favorite Character: Stanley Raymond Kowalski Episode Count: 67 Favorite Episode: N/A Season Ranking: N/A Network: CTV IMDB Grade: 8.2/10 109: Brimstone (1998 - 1999) What's it about: A dead cop, returned from Hell to recover 113 escaped evil spirits. Why I love it: A pretty great supernatural series, and it looks good. Kind of like Supernatural, only with more substance. Ended before it's time. Favorite Character: The Devil Episode Count: 13 Favorite Episode: Mourning After Season Ranking: 1 Network: FOX IMDB Grade: 8.2/10 108: Alias (2001 - 2006) What's it about: An international spy recruited out of college and trained for espionage and self-defense. Why I love it: A total guilty pleasure that is kind of slipping down my list, but I will always remember it's badassness. Favorite Character: Julian Sark Episode Count: 105 Favorite Episode: The Telling Season Ranking: 2,3,1,5,4 Network: ABC IMDB Grade: 7.8/10 107: Homicide: Life On The Street (1993 - 1999) What's it about: A police homicide investigation unit investigates violent crimes in the city of Baltimore. Why I love it: I am very new to this show, and that is why it's not higher. But I reckon it will be. It's very bleak, not quite like The Wire but it has some of the qualities that makes that show excellent. Favorite Character: Tim Bayliss Episode Count: 122 Favorite Episode: N/A Season Ranking: N/A Network: NBC IMDB Grade: 9.0/10 106: Malcolm In The Middle (2000 - 2006) What's it about: A gifted young teen tries to survive with his dimwitted, dysfunctional family. Why I love it: A pretty classic comedy, very much over the top insane, but unforgettable. Favorite Character: Hal Episode Count: 151 Favorite Episode: Bowling Season Ranking: N/A Network: FOX IMDB Grade: 8.4/10 105: Forever Knight (1992 - 1996) What's it about: 800-year-old vampire Nick Knight quests for redemption as a cop in Toronto. Why I love it: A great vampire series for vampire fans. Though cheesy at times, the strong cast made it memorable. Favorite Character: Janette Episode Count: 71 Favorite Episode: Fever Season Ranking: 2,1,3 Network: CBS IMDB Grade: 7.9/10 104: Drawn Together (2004 - 2008) What's it about: Parody of popular cartoon characters living in a reality show. Why I love it: Completely over the top, but hysterical at times. Loved and hated the characters. Favorite Character: Ling-Ling Episode Count: 36 Favorite Episode: Drawn Together Babies Season Ranking: 3,2,1 Network: Comedy Central IMDB Grade: 7.8/10 103: Popular (1999 - 2001) What's it about: Two girls who despise each other, are forced together upon learning that their parents are getting married. Why I love it: A great teen-comedy with substance and funny humor. Didn't always work, but when it did, it ruled. Favorite Character: Mary Cherry Episode Count: 43 Favorite Episode: The Consequences Of Falling Season Ranking: 2,1 Network: The WB IMDB Grade: 7.7/10 102: Nurse Jackie (2009 - ???) What's it about: A nurse struggles to find a balance between her frenetic job and personal dramas. Why I love it: One of the best new shows of the year, the cast is excellent and the show is promising. Favorite Character: Jackie Peyton Episode Count: 12 Favorite Episode: Health Care And Cinema Season Ranking: 1 Network: Showtime IMDB Grade: N/A 101: Everwood (2002 - 2006) What's it about: A widowed brain surgeon moves his two children to the small mountain town of Everwood. Why I love it: A truly beautiful family drama that wasn't perfect, but it was close when it was at it's best. Why I love it: This show did have a downwards spiral after a while, but it was a classic comedy most kids in the 90's grew up with. Favorite Character: Phoebe Buffay Episode Count: 236 Favorite Episode: The One Where Everybody Finds Out Season Ranking: 5,3,4,6,2,7,1,8,10,9 Network: NBC IMDB Grade: 8.9/10 099: Medium (2005 - ???) What's it about: Alison Dubois has the dead send her visions of their deaths or other crimes while she sleeps. Why I love it: The show is surprisingly creative and the strong leads make it succeed where other shows about Mediums fail. Favorite Character: Allison DuBois Episode Count: 95 Favorite Episode: Allison Wonderland Season Ranking: 3,2,5,4,1 Network: CBS IMDB Grade: 7.6/10 098: Oz (1997 - 2003) What's it about: The daily activities of an unusual prison facility and its criminal inhabitants. Why I love it: Despite the decline in quality, the show will always be remembered as revolutionary. Favorite Character: Simon Adebisi Episode Count: 56 Favorite Episode: A Game Of Checkers Season Ranking: 1,3,5,2,6,4 Network: HBO IMDB Grade: 9.3/10 097: Man Vs. Wild (2006 - ???) What's it about: A survival television series hosted by Bear Grylls. Why I love it: Watching a crazy dude eat raw animals and drink his own urine is both entertaining and educational. Favorite Character: N/A Episode Count: 46 Favorite Episode: Iceland Season Ranking: 2,1,3 Network: Discovery Channel IMDB Grade: 9.0/10 096: Desperate Housewives (2004 - ???) What's it about: The lives of female friends in one suburban neighborhood. Why I love it: This show needs to end badly, but despite being a trashy guilty pleasure, it is surprisingly good. The cast is great, and the show doesn't fail to entertain. Favorite Character: Bree Van De Kamp Episode Count: 111 Favorite Episode: Remember Season Ranking: 1,3,2,4 Network: ABC IMDB Grade: 8.0/10 095: Dragon Ball Z (1989 - 1996) What's it about: Super fighters try to save the world from unspeakable evil. Why I love it: I plan to watch this show again one day with the Jap subs, becoming a Super Saiyan was every young boy's wet dream. It was mine anyway. Favorite Character: Goku Episode Count: 291 Favorite Episode: Super Saiyan 3?! Season Ranking: N/A Network: Fuji IMDB Grade: 9.0/10 094: 2 Stupid Dogs (1993 - 1995) What's it about: Follows the lives of two dogs: the overly excited Little Dog and easy-paced Big Dog. Why I love it: Very dry humor, basically my kind of humor. This show was great, I loved the characters and the sillyness. Favorite Character: Big Dog Episode Count: 45 Favorite Episode: Hobo Hounds Season Ranking: 2,1 Network: TBS Superstation IMDB Grade: 8.2/10 093: Invasion (2005 - 2006) What's it about: The aftermath of a hurricane, a Florida Park Ranger and his family deal with strange occurrences. Why I love it: Despite the slow start, the show is surprisingly good. The mythology worked and the main cast was strong. Shame it wasn't given the chance. Favorite Character: Tom Underlay Episode Count: 22 Favorite Episode: The Last Wave Goodbye Season Ranking: 1 Network: ABC IMDB Grade: 7.8/10 092: Skins (2009 - ???) What's it about: A group of British teens who are trying to grow up and find love and happiness. Why I love it: Although completely over the top, it is more realistic than most American teen shows. It is not afraid to show the ugly side of a teenage life. Favorite Character: Effy Stonem Episode Count: 29 Favorite Episode: Jal Series 2 Season Ranking: 3,2,1 Network: E4 IMDB Grade: 8.9/10 091: Weeds (2005 - ???) What's it about: A suburban mother turned marijuana dealer. Why I love it: The biggest slip since my last official list. Although the show has lost me a bit, the great lead makes it unforgettable. Favorite Character: Nacy Botwin Episode Count: 63 Favorite Episode: GO Season Ranking: 3,1,2,5,4 Network: Showtime IMDB Grade: 8.6/10
