Jessica Hamby shock boot I had been really excited to read the books this show is based on until I found out Jessica doesn't exist in them and Lafayette dies for no reason. Yeah, I'll pass. Jessica is fantastic. The perfect woman? Uh, yes. I don't think she's been handled perfectly though (I could help out in that department :pervwink). I agree with Joaqenix that season 1 Jess > Season 2, even though I love her and Hoyt together. I seriously (not seriously) jizzed everywhere when they revealed she's going all evil on us next year. SO excited. I spent most of the season worrying about Jessica, honestly. It was exhausting. She just had some vibe around her that she wasn't going to make it through the season. Partly because she didn't exist in the books, partly because she was in an adorable relationship, partly because a lot of other people must have been getting the same vibes and there were a lot of Jessica dies rumors swirling around the 'net leading up to the finale. And since she doesn't even appear in the finale until like the last 10 minutes, I was in a constant state of panic waiting for something terrible to happen to her. Phew. But anyway, my main prob with her this season wasn't that she wasn't bitchy enough, it's just that she was and still is SO disconnected from the rest of the show. I love that they invented this goddess of a character, but they really need to let her get involved in the main storylines. Apart from Bill (obvo) and her episode of hanging out with Sookie (I loved her trying to kill her father btw) she and Hoyt spend the entire season alone pretty much. I wanted Jessica to help take out Maryann. I want Jessica to meet Tara, and Jason, and etc. It was like The Jessica Show is it's own little thing inside of True Blood, which is okay I guess but it's not great. Um, also, less clothing next season.

He's hilarious, charming, conflicted, and constantly dating ridiculously hot, ridiculously insane bitches. And he gets most of the best lines. Him playing the god who comes in order to smite Sam in front of the crazies was MAYBE the best scene of the season. I went into this in the OSTS thread, but I'll do it again here. I'm not a shipper of any kind. I don't ship, okay? There are several reasons: I have a penis I'm not retarded and many more However, I will break that rule in one and only one situation and say that OMG LIEK JASON AND TARA NEED 2 GET 2GETHUR BC THEY ARE ADORBZ AND I LUV THEM AND OMG OMG I WANT THEM TO GET MARRYED AND HAVE BABIEZ THEY R THE BESTTTTTTTTTT! :twiddles clit: 1. Lafayette Reynolds Um, yeah. There's nothing that isn't amazing about Lafayette. NOTHING. He's an entrepreneur. He hates Eggs. He tells Tara to stop being a little bitch. He threatens the political careers of closeted douchebags. He makes hamburgers...with AIDS. Now, as I said earlier, Lafayette dies at the end of the first book for basically no reason. I guess it turns out later that he was in a secret sex cult (what?) and like, the orgies in the second book aren't caused by Maryann, it's just that everyone in Bon Temps has orgies (what?) and like Lafayette pissed them off or something (what?) so they killed him. Or something? Anyway, Alan Ball read that chapter and was like "Um, fuck that shit." And thank the lord it was to be that Lafayette could continue to pwn our televisions and the world. Gran was my favorite character on True Blood initially. The title passed to Amy after that, who also got snuffed in her 5th episode. Lafayette was third in command at the time. And I saw that foot in Andy's car, and I heard Sookie scream, and I saw the fade to black. And I decided right then and there that if they killed Lafayette in that fucking moronic fashion I was probably going to stop watching 4EVER. Well, you know how that played out. ~theend~

In the books he's white and fat I think. lolwut Jason <33 So fucking sexual and yet innocent. Gran's death made me cry but overall meh. I too was worried about Jessica. I'm glad she's just going to be bad next year instead of dead, and I'm glad she didn't get stuck in a super adorbs relationship with Hoyt (even tho it was cute) because the show doesn't need another Bill and Sookie.

Laf and Jas are really a toss up - I just get all tingly in my naughty bits when Jason is on my TV - and half nekkid. GREAT LIST! One of the best in CTS yet!!!

Its crazy how they made him into such an important character on the show, I love it <3 Jason/Lafayette <333 best F2 ever!
