Meghan could have done it, I bet even Miss America or that old lady in the dance hall could have rung that bell. It's just physics. Tiffany came close on the few times that she swung from behind her head, and would have done better if she started from a sideways or lower position, or hadn't worn herself out with poor choices. My wife (who is a female) watched the episode just last night, and her reaction was: "Haven't they ever been to an amusement park or state fair? They're swinging the hammer completely wrong."

Indeed, if you're too weak physically it's just not going to happen, no matter how good your technique is. Tiffany could probably have made it though if she hadn't wasted so much energy on half-assed swings with the wrong technique. I seriously doubt Miss America would've been able to ring the bell, just based on her racing so far.

Whilst Einstein here thinks he's revolutionised the art of swinging a hammer (saying it's arm strength that is the least important), he's totally forgotten that it's going to be the torque that your arm muscles produce that is going to be lifting the hammer.
