I'm a bit worried about Jen and Kisha from the previews.
Anyone know when the next U-Turn will be?
I think the'll be fine. The preview looked like a classic Amazing Race misdirection.

They'll all be fine. Aren't there three episodes left?

The whole episode was epic. But for sure the funniest moment was the little bro's slo-mo dancing. LMAO.

Remember in Season 9 the episode preview with Wanda/Desiree not being able to do the swimming task? Well they did it, but were eliminated that leg. Maybe
that's what is gonna happen to Kisha/Jen.

My brain is potpourri of emotions right now.
Around this great country, there are graduate students writing thesis' about various human psychological disorders. These students are wasting their time. A remedial review of Margie and Luke is a fucking master's class on human co-dependence. It's so bizarre to watch it's actually painful. Luke is a grown man. He's in his 20's. You can't hear. That sucks. But compared to other disabilities, it's the one everyone would want to have. I'd take being deaf over being blind any fucking day. He acts like a little bitch who can't wipe his ass without his mother's help. And Margie is a freaky woman who it appears, feels the need to control and keep him a perpetual youth. Shocker that there's apparently no husband in the picture. I'm breaking my own rule by trying to extrapolate all sorts of meaning from some reality show's edits, but 10 seconds of watching these two show me how fucked up they really are. |

To be fair, Momiree's philimination was the same leg but it was a DOUBLE leg. So they did not get eliminated the week of the swimming problem but the week
following.

Well, with 3 episodes left, it doesn't take a genius to figure out next week will more likely than not be NEL, so maybe J/K survive this week but leave the
next one, just like W/D.

I don't see anyone but Victor and Tammy winning... they've gotten the best edit.
The producers are trying to make Kisha and Jen out to be villains. |

Really? I still like both teams (I know, strange ,right?), but I would imagine that after Margie's rant, all support would go to Jen. That's what
I've seen on other sites...

I feel like that entire episode was designed to make us satisfied with a Tammy and Victor win.
As for Bitchpushinggate, they're all full of crap. Luke is full of crap that he was innocent, Margie is full of crap for completely overreacting, and Jen is full of crap for pretending she was the victim. One personal experience that I have had was playing soccer for a school in the same conference as my state's school for the deaf, and I do remember quite well that those guys were, in fact, MUCH more physically aggressive and more prone to cheap shots and hoping the refs didn't notice than the other teams we played. Luke was clearly in the wrong for throwing elbows, even though Jen clearly is full of it when she claimed she was an innocent victim. Now, as for Margie's claims that Luke was being picked on, do you think that had, say, Jaime thrown an elbow in Jen's face that Jen wouldn't have said the same thing to her, if not something stronger? (I use Jaime as my exemplar because I can't fathom Tammy engaging in fisticuffs and Mark/Michael throwing elbows would only involve Jen getting a nasty bruise in the knee.) The fact is that Luke got caught being a bit aggressive physically, Jen called him on it in a rather rude fashion, and Margie either came to her son's defense or enabled his own rude behavior by letting him play the victim. She came to her son's defense as most mothers would had they heard their son being called a bitch, but I do think that Margie freaked the hell out over a perceived slight for the wrong reasons. Jen and Kisha weren't being rude because Luke is deaf; Kisha and Jen were being rude because they felt Luke was acting like a jackass. I think, though, it's probably more comfortable for Margie and Luke to think that he's being picked on for being deaf than for acknowledging his bad behavior, and Margie did clearly admonish him in the cab for being too physical. And, I must say, if Jaime hates being in places where people don't speak English, why the hell didn't she just apply for Big Brother instead? Also, anyone care to take the bet that seeing as she is a Pretty Person from Miami, Jaime and Cara are probably plants that are friends with that Freddy/Kendra, Jon/Kelly, Riker Twins clique. Jaime and Kendra being friends just makes so much sense to me, you know? And why, why, why did Jen have to live up to stereotypes by being the archetypal African-American reality television contestant that can't swim? How has no reality television winner started a charity addressing this? There, I've stereotyped or disparaged African Americans, the deaf, Kendra from season 6, and little people. Flame away! |

I know the preponderance of people here seem to hate Margie & Luke. I don't, but I also don't hate Keisha & Jen. I feel the same about them
both - don't hate, don't love. But either of them'd be the team I'd be happiest to see win. I don't like the other three teams.
But ... with the pushing and shoving. At the first box, Keisha/Jen (which was it?) ran over Luke's back, and he pushed her off him. Which is fair play. The second, the situation was reversed. Nobody was right, and nobody was wrong. But Keisha/Jen shouldn't have started the name-calling. I say in the realm of who was wrong and right, it was a draw. Keisha/Jen is delusional about being the injured party. Being happy that Luke was bitten shows a pretty petty attitude. And at the mat ... she was laughing at him signing, however she'd like to make it be different. The next thing I thought about this episode was ... I noticed that at the fishing task, the Chinese guys in the boats were holding the birds for both the girl/girl teams. They didn't do that for any of the others that I could see. Really unfair! That's how they were able to complete it so much quicker than the other teams. |

kutabeach wrote:Uh, this entire fucking site is about people making ASSUMPTIONS about people they don't know nor will ever know. YOU are assuming, I am assuming, everyone is assuming. So, now that we are clear. Does Luke REALLY seem like the type of kid that grew up with a strong father figure? He seems like a coddled 7 year old with an over-protective mother. Again, these are assumptions, but I'm only going on what I see. |
