Or have the designers vote off the models, and then the remaining models end up randomly being paired to a designer.

TheEasyOne wrote: Maybe, but there'd be a lot more room for stealing. And you know half the designers this season loved Tanisha but were too afraid to steal her from Althea the scary giantess. So since Althea wouldn't have had Tanisha the second challenge, I bet we would've seen others snap her up, and because of random picking order, Althea might not have gotten Tanisha again for awhile and not formed such a bond with her (same with CH and Lisa and well really everyone because bonds would be much more tenuous). So a rule like that would've made a huge difference I think. It would be far more interesting AND make the best models rise to the top. No working with the same model until week 7 or 8 is too cumbersome, they'd have to have like a chart of who everyone's worked with every week just to keep track. And what about the final chooser if the last two models had already been picked by that chooser?I mean, I'm not saying it's not a good idea, it's just not realistic. Simply making them pick a different model every week is simple, easy and realistic and I think it'd shake things up way more than one might think.

I just adored Matar. She sometimes look like a hot young Israeli version of... yikes... Bernadette Peers.

I liked Matar. <3
I don't see why the final designers aren't allowed to pick out two girls to walk in their show. It'd help confuse spoilers on which models make it to the end, give the models a reason to impress multiple designers and really work on their performance, and wouldn't undercut the three models who make it to the end, since they still have a shot at the money. And we'd get to see Matar and Simone again :'( |

And compared to Bernadette Peters, Matar looks young.

I laughed at that fake reaction shot of Carol Hannah giving Lisa the stink-eye after seeing the model she chose.

I thought it was funny how Lisa kept saying willowy, and it was so obvious she had no idea what it meant.

I think I saw Naima from Top Model during the casting, she was the one they said was too ethnic.

Yeah, Naima was sporting an afro. Jaslene is also one of the models for Althea's BP collection.

I know many have said that this show was better than watching this season of PR. I respectfully disagree. I was looking to this one as much as PR but they were
both huge letdowns. I don't think they should do model different rules for picking models (the runway types anyways, I don't mind the "normal
people" ones cause it's a chance to display talent designing for a vast array of body types).
This isn't about the models. It's about the clothes and designers. |

I agree it sucked. In retrospect it was a waste of time and I hope they don't do it again. The few entertaining moments were not enough to justify a whole
show, IMO.

Agreed it sucked. It would have been much, much better if they showed the drama that occurs over the hours and hours and hours that the models are stuck
waiting around on the runway days. I'm sure there are some great drama-filled moments then. I would have loved to have seen clips from the paper
challenge when the models were dressed in their paper outfits for 12+ hours and could barely move, let alone go to the bathroom or anything else. I could only
imagine the bitchiness that went on that day.
