Some people just hate Monica because you overrate her and worship her like some g0ddess when she in fact was kinda irrelevant to the season as a whole. Most of the Monica hate actually stems from your (and Oo's) liking of her. If you stopped massively defending Monica in every single post and did less of what you're doing now, maybe people would like her more.

Or if you like nice, sweet, religious southern blondes. Can't argue with taste. But Suckls usually dumps on Amanda and downgrades Danni, so I'm just pointing out the inconsistency. Amanda/Danni/Natalie are all very different people. And if you're arguing the coat tail riding, well, Monica rode Laura's coattails as part of her strategy of laying low until she had no choice but to get loud.

I'm saying most of it is CONTEXT - Steph and Todd\Courtney and Parv\Cirie have lots of fans here, but Russell not so much. In both of her seasons, Amanda was always in a solid alliance and didn't have a problem with stepping up to make decisions (eg. getting rid of Sherea, James, Peih Gee, Denise, Tracy, Alexis, Cirie (and allegedly a few others) were Amanda's decisions.) Natalie went along with the order laid out by Russell, maybe with the exception of the Erik elimination. The only thing I'd see in common between the two girls is that they both counted on bitter juries to vote against who they were up against in the end, which worked for Natalie, but not for Amanda. Amanda, however, did also hope that her loyal game and relative integrity would earn her some respect. Amanda was also physically dominant towards the end game when the game narrowed down to mainly other women, so no one can say they carried Amanda anywhere. If anything, Todd and Parvati should thank Amanda for winning those final challenges, being loyal to a fault and giving a horrendous FTC performance. Oh, and Amanda had the 3rd most confessionals in both her seasons <3 Amanda gets hated on for being somewhat empty-headed and fake, and breaking down on day 39 in back-to-back seasons. She's pretty inoffensive, but I guess Natalie's more inoffensive, and she beat out Russell, who's less respected around here than Todd, Courtney or Parvati.

In other words, so what? It made her personality shine that much more. People like her for her. And would have liked her in a better edited season as well. Randomly comparing her to other survivors is stupid, especially when the similarities are limited. Especially when it's a roundabout way to arbitrarily compliment Monica, Parvati, Jenna, or Eliza in a way that doesn't even make that much sense.

I've done my best with Natalie, but can only stretch so far. In the sucky Samao context, she'd top 4. But in many other contexts, she'd be the boring Barbie girl that Sucks likes to rag on. You know I got a point, you've half agreed with me. Really, Natalie's competition in the best winner debate is Vee, Amber, and Danni - she doesn't threaten any strategic masterminds.
