THIS IS GOOD CONFIRMATION...............................
This is not a rumour - it appears to be true - we are a couple that fully paid for our trip to Samoa in June only
to be told our accommodation at Aggie Greys Resort and Spa has been cancelled due to Survivor Samoa and we've been left to find our own accommodation at
the cost of hundreds of dollars more than the original booking - Good on you Aggie Greys Resort, Samoa tourism and Survivor Samoa!

So this statement seems to be confirmed....
The piece doesn't mention Survivor but says it's a CBS show "filmed in different countries [that] is about individuals being tested for their survival skills in various remote locations," and said it will be filmed "a short distance from a couple of luxury hotels and Faleolo International Airport which is just three hours from Auckland." By this traveler on March 14th........ This is not a rumour - it appears to be true - we are a couple that fully paid for our trip to Samoa in June only to be told our accommodation at Aggie Greys Resort and Spa has been cancelled due to Survivor Samoa and we've been left to find our own accommodation at the cost of hundreds of dollars more than the original booking - Good on you Aggie Greys Resort, Samoa tourism and Survivor Samoa! And the application said filming is to be late June, July, and August.......... 5. Approximately 16 finalists (the final number of which will be determined by Producers) will be selected as contestants to participate in this SURVIVOR program. Filming is presently scheduled to occur in late June-mid-August 2009 (or as otherwise scheduled by Producers) at a remote location to
be announced.
So the only clue we have as to where it will be filmed is "a short distance from a couple of luxury hotels and Faleolo International Airport " We know one of the luxury hotels is Aggie Greys Resort. So what constitutes a short distance? I think under 10 miles maybe? |

Yea HD island will be cool and as long as editing remains on par with China-Gabon, it should be fine. I actually rather liked Cooks, but we wont get into that
again... ravu rules might rear his head in here.

I need to say I'm upset with this piece of shit location. It looks exactly like the marquesas... I was hoping for something more exotic... like there is
samoans of over the place... a lot of them are over weigth. I went to high school with a bunch of them... so frustrating...
