He said that he has always been a quieter laid back utr guy (which he has shown) and that he likes it that way. He just wants to write and play music for a living. In all honesty i woulnt be suprised that if kris could make a living doing this WITHOUT being a celebrity he would! His friends have said they dont think kris would like recieving the amount of attention adam does because its not kris' personality.

Kris seems like a very nice guy and he's mad talented but he lived less than 400 miles from Nashville so if he really just wanted a career in music and not all the glitz and fame why didn't he just move to Nashville and work on getting a record deal? Nashville isn't just country these days afterall. I stopped buying my daugher christmas gifts about 6 years ago when she discovered there was no santa. Now we use the money I would've spent on gifts for her to buy gifts for children whose parents can't afford gifts... I guess this lambtard will just have to get by with one CD...

Kris and Kris brother have said that it was his brother that begged kris to audition with him. It was a last minute road trip just for fun and then kris ended up making it through.

I hope all three (adam, allison and kris) are successful enough to get a second album because really, that's when they will establish if they are more than just a novelty found by the idol machine.

He's not a media whore, he doesn't seem to crave attention and he doesn't court controversy to sell himself and his music. He's just a normal, nice guy who wants to make music and earn a living doing it. He should be able to do that, just like Bo Bice is still doing it. I doubt he gives a damn about being considered unworthy of the superstar tag. Adam has more label and media support so he should sell more easily.

I thought I read that Kris had gone back to school so he could get a "normal" job and take care of Katy... he then said if he hadn't gone on idol he'd be doing something that didn't involve music.... it's really neither here nor there. Kris did go on Idol.. he won and now he has the career he wanted. He likes being low key. Nothing wrong with that IMO. Hell Kelly Clarkson has had a pretty damn good career and she's about as low key as they come.

Even though it'll probably be super beige, I'd like to put $5 on Kris outselling Adam. Not that Adam's album is bad but it just sound kind of old and very 80s. I can't imagine anyone under 30 actually buying it. I also don't think radio is going to go for it. I'm not sure though. That's why I'm only betting $5.
