Adam. Just heard his single, the two aren't even in the same league.
I also listened to the rest of Kris's snippets. They alll sound the same, and he doesn't seem to have a voice that carries very well. Its like he practically keeps the same tone in every part of a song, even when it obviously calls for more range. He has no range, dude needs voice training. And what the hell was that grovelly song? That sucked bad too.
He'll be gone in a few years.
Just because Adam is going to scream to overly produced techno tracks and Kris will softly sing to pianos and acoustic guitars, does not equal either one being better or worse. It would be like me saying since Kris has a single that speaks to us as human beings and the state of our world, that makes him far superior to Adam because Lambert is just doing generic pop music that is in no way new or original. It doesn't.
And with that said, I have long stated that Lambert will sell more debut albums, it probably will not even be close. But to say that Kris needs voice training or this, that, or the other just sounds like sour grapes. It isn't a rivalry. Kris and Adam don't see it that way, I don't know why we have to.
Adam will mainly produce generic dance music and Kris will release records that have cultural signifigance and meaning to them. Now I'm sure that it sounds like I am ragging on Lambert, but I'm not. I won't listen to him like I don't listen to Britney's stuff or didn't enjoy the Transformers sequel. That doesn't mean he doesn't have talent and won't sell huge. All it means (getting back to my original point) is that they are completley different artists and to compare them in anything but sales is rather pointless.
