#2: Link's Awakening DX
So...yes. This game is probably, in fact, my favourite Zelda game - considerably more so than OoT and that BITCH Majora's Mask. First of all...it's fun to play. It doesn't make you want to tear your hair out as you're trying to complete a certain challenge; it doesn't make you do 22 things to get one item that you'll need for a tiny bit of the game. Instead, it was a very, very in depth game that was fun to play. Every dungeon was slightly different but had a few complex parts to it; you could use each item that you acquired for one part of the game several times throughout the game. As the game got on, they got better - the ability to fly = <3333. It had all the usual touches of a Zelda game, with Hookshots, Boomerangs, Heart Containers...everything. Hell, it even had the "item trading" mini-quest which is just so much fun (and unlike OoT doesn't end up being timed in a complete bitch move to get the most powerful weapon in the game >_>). This is probably the perfect main console to handheld game conversion, in my humble opinion...and the Color Dungeon that's the extra in the DX version is just as awesome, even if it does make the game slightly easier.
Oh, and massive-mega boss fight at the end was AWESOME. Six bosses, including Ganon...perfect :)
So, yes. Silver is #1. No surprise, it's my favourite EVER video game, and therefore I'm going to work on the write-up a bit more. So you can mull over stuff some more >_>
