#4: Kirby's Pinball Land This is mostly #4 for nostalgia reasons: this was the first game that I ever bought (since Tetris came with the Game Boy). Here's the thing though: most - if not all - pinball games suck. Like, it's just pinball, and you can try and theme it any way that you like, but that's all it's ever going to be. Yet...Kirby's Pinball Land is still remarkably enjoyable. It offers a lot of choice, which is a major plus: you can choose one of three routes to go up to start with, and then you have to do certain things in each "room" of the route before you get to a boss. Kill the boss and you go back to the start room, and have to choose one of the other two routes. It's challenging, you only have a certain number of lives, but it's also insanely fun, and that's why I <3 Kirby's Pinball Land.
#3: Pokémon Blue Yeah, this isn't going to be popular, but there's a reason. First of all, Blue was the second of the two games that I got, and having already completed Red a couple of times, Blue's only real use for me was a way of trading Squirtle & Charmander over to my Red game. Still, I played it a fair bit too, and I believe that it was the game that found its way in to Pokémon Stadium for a while when I couldn't find my Red cartridge. But Blue's other big problem for me is the version exclusives: personally, the only version exclusive on that list that I would want is Magmar. Scyther > Pinsir, and Electabuzz is awesome in itself. Plus, Mankey & Primeape > Sandshrew & Sandslash. And Red had Ekans & Arbok. Personal taste, maybe, but Blue's only going to be number drei. Oh, and it also replaced Green and therefore robbed Venusaur of a box art until LeafGreen came out </3. |

Wow, I disagree with your exclusives list 100%... and I was a red guy :D

Bellsprout/Weepinbell/Victreebell aren't as powerful as the Oddish group, and Mankey and Primeape are much stronger than Meowth & Persian (the only thing Meowth has going for him is Pay Day, and that's pretty useless as it is). And Growlithe & Arcanine are obviously > Vulpix & Ninetales. Oh, and here's something I didn't know: you can buy Dratini from the Game Corner a lot cheaper in Red than you can in Blue, another example of Red > Blue >_> YemaGrl1988 wrote:Why, yes, I do. |

Technically, it's a neutral accent, because people tend not to know which part of the country I come from when I speak; they just know I'm from the
north. So it's slightly more like the second one, except...I don't miss that many letters. I can put it on thick like that if I want to, though.

#2: Tetris Tetris is just plain awesome. I mean, even now I still have the cartridge and every now and again I'll play a bit of Tetris. I have the Tetris App on Facebook and play it fairly regularly. I mean, there's very little you can say wrong about Tetris: hell, it had two music tracks, but arguably that isone of the most distinctive pieces of music in video game history. Just so, so awesome, and I used to play it all the time. Hell, it was the only game I had for at least 18 months or so. I also would like to point out that, even as a two year old, I was still actually pretty good at Tetris, and in some way I'd like to think it helped my mental development because it's not exactly the easiest game for a two year old to play. Which, I think, is a fair point: kids these days don't have challenging games like Tetris, they just have "Disney Chanel Show cash-in #210" as the next game on their list. For shame, game developers. #1: Pokémon Red Was there ever really any doubt that a Pokémon game would be top of this list? Simply put, Pokémon was just awesome when it came out, and it still is to this day. I remember that the deal with my parents was that if I did well in the end of year exams, I got Pokémon; so, with that motivation, I came top of the class (well, joint top of the class, but still). Then, me and my mum went to go get the game...and they'd sold out. Never to be deterred, I got the strategy guide while getting on my mum's phone and telling my dad to find a game shop that sold it. See, that's kind of the top of my "spoiled" list right there. But he found it, and I fell. in. love. I remember playing it from Friday to Sunday and completing virtually all of it in that one go, only getting stuck on Agatha for what seemed like an age. Red is just pure awesome and holds that special place in my heart, and it officially started my Pokémon obsession that would last well in to Gold & Silver. GBC games next. |

Y'know, I've always hated Tetris. I never like, got the fun of it or anything. I seem to be the only one though so....I dunno.

I vaguely recall my Red team having Venusaur, Pidgeot and possibly Gengar on there when I first completed the game. No idea what levels/other ones were though.
All I remember was hating that BITCH Agatha...although that was mainly because I mostly just levelled up Venusaur and all the others were like, 10 levels too
low to battle the Elite Four >_>

I got Jynx in a trade because I need an ice pokemon to fight Lance in the Elite 4. For some reason she gains bonus EXP. like CARAZY so, she's like 10
levels ahead.
Lol at me having a Jynx though. |

Lolol Jynx is fierce <33 it's totally a Yema pokemon <3
Ya, when you get a Pokemon in a trade, it levels up nearly twice as fast, that's why she gets muchos EXP XD |
