It is the people like us who really don't enjoy the product anymore but will continue to watch that are going to keep it alive.

If Heroes stays steady at 7/8 million viewers per week, it will more then likely always have a slot in the line-up. Unless NBC, dishes out tons of quality
programming this year (seems unlikely), Heroes decent numbers will still be some of the best the network can deliver.

Yeah, NBC will probably suck this TV season. If Heroes can get the same numbers it did in like Season 3 (Part 1), it'll probably stay, surprisingly.
But I just wish that all of the news thus far is just a hoax and the premier episode will have all new people, with the old cast dying between during the break. |

What Bryan Fuller left Heroes for:
Bryan Fuller exited the writing staff of "Heroes" in mid-June to write two pilots for NBC, and he's finally offering details on the projects. Neither pilot script appears to have a sci-fi or fantasy component -- a shift for Fuller, who got his start on "Star Trek: Voyager" and earlier this decade scripted excellent failed pilots based on Stephen King's "Carrie" and Mike Mignola's "The Amazing Screw-On Head." Fuller (creator of "Dead Like Me," "Wonderfalls" and "Pushing Daisies") and director Bryan Singer ("X-Men,"
"X2," "Superman Returns," "Valkyrie," "House") are collaborating on a proposed hourlong project based on
Augusten Burroughs' 2000 novel "Sellevision," Fuller's second NBC pilot script is for a prospective workplace sitcom titled "No Kill," about an animal shelter that doesn't destroy its tenants. Major digression! I am hugely amused by the Fuller/Singer collaboration because at one time I had difficulty remembering which of the two Bryans (they're both successful Hollywood fortysomething sci-fi homosexuals) was which. (During this same general era I kept confusing also Singer's heterosexual "X-Men"/"Superman Returns" sci-fi singer-actor James Marsden with heterosexual "Buffy The Vampire Slayer" sci-fi singer-actor James Marsters.) End major digression! |

Sound like dumb ideas to me.
Granted, they still sound more entertaining than watching an episode of Heroes, so anything is a step up for Fuller. |

The one about the animal shelter sounds really really stupid.
I'm going to pick up my Season 3 DVD tomorrow. Why, I have no clue. |

But based on the way the show is trending, I have no clue why. The simple answer is optimism but no, I really think the show is just going to keep Kringing along, downward. And the Hiro storyline will be AWFUL. |

Aint It Cool News gave a copy of Season 3
to the winners of a random poll. I'm kind of glad I lost. |

My Angela-like premonition: Season four is going to be fucking awful. Easily the worst yet. I'll still be watching, given my love of sci-fi and
superheroes, but I'll hate myself a little for doing so.

I (to my slight surprise) have yet to budge and buy S3 on DVD... I'll ultimatley either make the decision to sell S2 and keep the only quality the show has
ever produced or fall to stupidity and buy the rest the series can dish out.
What REALLY irks me is that it seems like the Graphic Novel isn't coming out this year... I have heard no news on it. Or do I really not remember when the first two came out and shouldn't be expecting it 'till November? |

They usually don't release the graphic novels until later in the year, there's already plans for the Graphic Novels for season three to be released,
probably in late November.

I almost bought Season 2 for 20 at Walmart. Then I remembered I spent 16 to get season 1. I won't buy season for any more than that.''

Apparently, I pre-ordered season 3 on DVD from Amazon when it was announced and forgot about it.
It came in the mail today. It's still in the Amazon box. |

I think my brain is telling me something, but I know I'll probably watch this show this season, but I certainly don't want to. I hope they bring in a superhero that turns into a werewolf and eats them all (how I was hoping Mental would end) |

I may watch on Hulu for hilarity's sake, but I'm spending my Mondays on CBS now. I'd rather watch their intentionally funny comedies than NBC's
unintentionally hilarious drama.
